I have 1/100 PA & DA with a gTLD ".website" ?
-
Hello all,
We launched a website builder with a ".website" domain and our Domain & Page authority is currently 1/100 . I would like to know if we'r making a mistake by using a ".website" gTLD ? Our site is lyl.website
Thanks for your help !

Ok. Thanks for the support !

Thanks for the follow-up Sean, and now Aymen (plus everyone else coming across this) has the official answer for the time being. Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Everyone,
I hope all is well and you are enjoying a wonderful day! Right now although it pains my heart to say but OSE does not pick up on all TLD's, so that is porbably why you are not seeing .website. Although, this may change in the future for right now we are not skynet just yet. Keep your eyes peeled for announcements relating to OSE and I am sorry that we could not provide more immediate assistance on this.
Hopefully this helps and if you have any questions for me let me know.
Have an amazing day and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Ok thanks Ryan !
-
Ah, I hadn't realized that. I can't speak to whether or not OSE is technically able to analyze tld of .website domains, but it appears they're all at DA 1 currently. We'll have to get tech support on this one.

Hi Ryan, thank you for you reply and support ! But i think it's a little bit more complicated. When i run the test on www.lyl.website the score is 1/100, but when i run the test on www.lyl-artisan.com , who is a child of lyl.website i get a score of 7/100 for DA and 20/100 for PA. Both was online the same day, few months ago.
I've checked this http://moz.com/ugc/an-seos-guide-to-acquiring-new-gtlds and the .website seems to be ranked normally.
Is it possible that the open site explorer doesn't work with the .website gTLD ? I tried to run the test with other .website sites and it was the same result.

Hello Aymen. All brand new websites start at 1/100 for the most part. The number increases over time based on their ability to gain reputable links, among many other factors. Here's an in-depth article about what all goes into it: http://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority and page authority: http://moz.com/learn/seo/page-authority. Best wishes to your success in growing your web presence.

How to increase the DA of a site?
I have done work on my site for 6 months, and still, I cannot find any progress because the DA in the MOZ is not increasing, and of course, I'm not getting rankings. What should I do now? I have been producing unique and new content too. Check my Site: http://www.apksoldier.com/avg-cleaner-pro-apk/

UPDATE: Rolling back an adjustment which had adverse effects on DA and PA scores.
UPDATE: Yesterday's (June 4, 2018) adjustment to our DA/PA metrics turned out to have some unanticipated adverse effects. We're rolling back the adjustment, so by midday tomorrow you should see your scores return to what they were earlier this week. We're also implementing some new procedural checks on our end to help make sure it doesn't happen again. We sincerely apologize for any stress or burden this may have caused. We also want to emphasize that DA and PA are relative metrics. The scores will fluctuate slightly with the index, and for that reason, should be used to compare your site with others. We realize this isn't always easy to explain to clients and stakeholders, so we're working on ways to help you all report these metrics in ways that minimize the potential for confusion. ****** We are continuing to improve our Domain Authority and Page Authority algorithms and strengthen our link index. As of today, June 14, 2018, You may notice a slight variation in current and historic DA/PA scores in Link Explorer and tools that incorporate our new link data such as Campaigns, Keyword Explorer, and MozBar. This is due to a planned adjustment on our end that could be more noticeable than our standard updates. We made this adjustment in order to account for the rapid growth of our link index over the past 6 months and and stabilize distribution of scores over time. For customers who have been tracking DA scores over time, you may want to make note of this adjustment date in your reporting. Rest assured that our DA and PA scores are still far more stable and accurate than they were previously in Open Site Explorer. Our index is now 20 times larger (and growing) and updating daily rather than monthly, therefore standard fluctuations in the index are far less noticeable in your score than before. DA and PA will still always fluctuate slightly and naturally with the index. As the landscape of the internet changes, so should our index to reflect those changes. Whenever we make an update on our end that could be noticeable on your end, we will let you know. Also, please remember that DA and PA scores should always be understood as relative to other sites’ scores in the index, and reported to clients in relation to their competition and not as a standalone metric of individual performance. If you have more questions about DA or the difference between the new score in Link Explorer vs. the old score in OSE, please read this FAQ page, or post a question below and I or a Mozzer will reach out. Thank you! Ian

What does "Number of Linking Root Domains" in Open Site Explorer actually mean?
I've read through the forum, but I'm confused as to what "Number of Linking Root Domains" means in the Linking Domains report. For example, if the root domain is Moz.com and the number is 135,000 does that mean there are 135,000 links from Moz pointing back to my site or does it mean there are 135,000 sites linking back to Moz? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Really slow to load results on Open Explorer and "error fetching your data" messages
Hi, I am new to Moz and I'm finding using Open Explorer a real pain and frustrating, not only is it really slow, but for the past couple of days I've been getting "error fetching your data" messages when trying to show links etc. Is this just generally what its like or is there another problem?

A simple count (with list if possible) of the external and internal links on a website
Dear Moz Community, I am trying to find a way to easily analyse a website (http://uk.chm-cbd.net) to determine the number of internal and external hyperlinks throughout the (roughly) 490 webpages within the site. It would also be extremely helpful to have a list of all the links with their url. Does anyone know of a tool, methodology to do this? If it requires a lot of programming then that does not help me very much as I am not very computer literate!! So a software to download or an online service would be very helpful. Open Site Explorer seems to be limited, such that I would have to do an analysis on each page within the website. BUT, if anyone knows how I can do using OSE, then please tell me. Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help Hugh
