How much time should I wait between Crawl Tests?
-
Hello!
I ask because it has happened before (and again this morning) that after doing a crawl test and repairing my site per the errors found in Moz's crawl test it still finds the same error. Even though I fixed them.
Typically I do a re-crawl 6 hours after or the next day and I find the same errors. I know they are fixed because a couple of days go by and finally Moz gets it right.
I had understood that the crawl test was an "on-demand" crawl of sorts, granted with limit of 2 a day. But it seems that if you re-crawl your site within a day the same results yield? It's frustrating.
Is this correct?
Thank you!

Hi Erin, thank you for your response. Ok that makes sense.
I appreciate it!

Ahoy!
Erin here. I'm a lead on the Help Team here at Moz! Sorry for the confusion! Our Crawl Test data is actually cached for 48 hours, which is why you're seeing the same issues after 6 hours/same day after you've made fixes. In order to get the most accurate results, you'll want to wait at least 48 hours between Crawl Tests.
I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, feel free to shoot us an email at help@moz.com!
Yours til the Chocolate Chips,
Erin

Moz Crawler Causing Server Timeouts... Crawling thousands of non-existant pages with query parameters
Moz crawler is crawling all pages like this: http://www.xxxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&product_orderby=date http://www.xxxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&paged=1 http://www.xxx.com/?product_count=100&product_order=desc&product_view=grid Last month it crawled 80,000 pages on a site with less than 100 pages. Is there a way to select only certain pages to be crawled? Right now it is still crawling this site, since Monday morning and it's Tuesday mid-day. Every Monday it is causing time-outs from high band width on our server. Just getting ready to delete this client from the account unless there is a solution someone can give us. Thanks.

Moz Crawl Report Increase in Errors?
Has anyone else noticed a huge increase over the past couple weeks in crawl issues in their dashboards? Without being able to see historical data week over week, I can't tell what's been added. Is this some update with the tool? I'm not seeing any health issues with this feature on the Moz Health page, it just seems strange that I'm seeing this across all our accounts.

Keyword used 2389 times in page
in the "on page grader" tool I get that the keyword appears 2389 times. I'ave searched for it in the developer console, thinking it might be due to invalid HTML - but the number it's appearance is no near to 2389. Can any one help me figure out why is this so? the page is http://naamanewman.co.il/photosGalleryID.aspx?id=34

Moz crawler only crawls one page?!
Hello there, I'm using Moz for a while and I'm very pleased with the tool and community. But for the first time I encountered a problem. We are trying to run a crawler for a client's website but only one page (only the homepage) was crawled. We tried to do a test on a more detailed level (maybe there is something wrong with the homepage). My campaign test's crawl came back for the Producten folder (level deeper than homepage), and it was also only a 1 page crawl with a 200 status. I did look at the robots.txt file now, and it is very restrictive, but there is nothing that I can clearly see that would explain why the crawl isn't working. Hopefully someone can point us at the right direction. Thanks in advance, Jeremy

Moz crawl issues: All pages keep resolving to our "cookies not enabled" page
Upon running the Moz Pro site crawler, I noticed that I received quite a bit of duplicate titles along with 302 redirects (which is our site creating a temporary 302 to our "cookies not enabled" page). How would I get around the crawler being redirected to this page? I've never ran across this issue before, despite using the crawler with sites that use the same framework as the one thats affected. Any ideas?

Canonicals in crawling reports
The crawling reports gives info about several meta data missing, what about the lack of a canonical tag? This would be nice too... and images without alt tag (or empty).
