Is still important video markup scheme

The question is about if is important or relevant for SEO video scheme i mean like hacing de pluggin of Video Seo of yoast actually or if it is out of date or not relevant for seo that pluggin and in that case if it is better to uninstall that pluggin and video scheme provided by it in order to improve page speed and eliminate unnecesarry pluggins if that is the case?

Like Patrick said, schema is still important in general. However, since video snippets for private sites (all but YouTube, Vimeo, etc) died a while back, it might not be worth your while to pursue implementing this markup. I might focus my efforts elsewhere (beefing up content, building quality links, etc) in order to get the best results from my work.

Yes - Schema is important as a markup language, as it is recognized and recommended by all major search engines.
It also has the capabilities of increasing rankings.
I would make sure you run your pages with video schema through the Google Testing Tool to make sure that the plugin is properly implementing video Schema.
Also, make sure that all tags are taken advantage of!

Recently I've heard a few people say now it's okay to be aggressive with internal linking. So a link from mydomain.com/news to mydomain/widgets can use spammy anchor text like "best green widgets in California" that are an obvious problem for links coming in from external site. Which is accurate?

Still getting 404 after re-directs
Hi Guys, I have joined SEO moz yesterday and ran a report and saw that I needed to redirect some old Urls - I have done this but still get the 404s. Using Transcription Service For Videos - Have Question Around Search and Spiders
Hi All, So I have put together a weekly video series on security topics. I have read an SEOmoz post around how you can boost SEO by adding the transcription to the page, which makes perfectly good sense. My question is, can I include the first couple of paragraphs and then have a "read the full transcription" so when the user clicks, the rest of the content appears? Do the search engine spiders only crawl the first two paragraphs in this instance or do they crawl the whole thing even though the entire content is not on the page? I dont mind making the page longer and including the entire transcription if it is easier for SEO but if there is no difference, than I think the first option would be the best user experience. How about this "onpage overoptimisation" everybody is talking about? Are the on-page optimisation reports still to be used?

Do videos count as duplicate content?
If we allow users to embed our videos on their site, would that count as duplicate content? I imagine note, given that Google can't usually 'see' the content of videos, but just want to double check.

Can embedding videos from other sites help SEO?
I work for an eCommerce site and many of the vendors we get our products from have videos our their site that explain how the products work and the different features of them, ect. We really have done nothing with video marketing, and would like to create some of our own unique videos, but this will be impossible for the vast majority of the products on our site. We know from a content standpoint embedding videos from our vendors to our product pages will be beneficial, but at the same time it shows our competitors and other site visitors where we are getting our products from which we would rather not do. How will this effect us from an SEO standpoint though? Will it help us to have new content, even though it is embedded from another site? Or will it hurt us because it is not unique? Or will it have no effect at all? Thanks for you help!
