95% of organic traffic lands in my homepage, despite having a 250 page website with a "seo optimized" hierarchical structure. Any suggestion as to what might be happening?

Challenging issue
All the "usual suspects" have been discarded: all pages included in google index, no google penalties, metas optimized, kw's segregated by pages/cluster of pages to avoid cannibalization...
BUT, we know we are missing something
website is www.e-florex.com and is an e-commerce site based on magento
Any ideas you might think are worth exploring?
Thanks in advance for your help
Juan

Thanks for providing the URL. The website is in Spanish which slows me down.
The observation I would make is that though you have some great back links - according to Semrush you do not appear to be ranking in the first few for high volume keywords in your customer category. I do not have time to review your backlinks but I would review them and see whether you are targeting the right anchor text.
Then secondly I would consider becoming more page focused for the keywords you are targeting. So get backlink anchor text specific with pages you want to rank for.
ie The below words you do not appear to rank well for. (not sure what any of them mean!)
Keyword Volume CPC SERP source flores 74,000 0.95 rosario flores 33,100 0.11 flores de bach 27,100 0.39 lola flores 18,100 0.09 florida 12,100 Finally if you have time I would do a competitor analysis - maybe a keyword density check on the keywords you are targeting - see if anything is drastically different from your competitors. Maybe they have great content blogs etc. I am not sure. I wish I could understand Spanish though!
All the best.

Hey Juan,
By conducting the initial analysis, I can conclude that most of the backlinks are pointing to your homepage. Look at the OSE's attached screenshot with this response.
I'd suggest you to apply following things as well,
- Implement RichSnippets
- In your guest posts (if you're doing), link to your service pages.
- Massively promote your service pages on social media
- Launch a blog section and produce useful content to target long-tail keywords and link your service pages.
- Target your service pages in the paid-advertising.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,

Webshop landing pages and product pages
Hi, I am doing extensive keyword research for the SEO of a big webshop. Since this shop sells technical books and software (legal books, tax software and so on), I come across a lot of very specific keywords for separate products. Isn't it better to try and rank in the SERP's with all the separate product pages, instead of with the landing (category) pages?

Help... To Optimize Category Page or Not?
My question is about whether to optimize a category page or not, but it’s a rather odd situation. Here’s a bit of background to start. When we relaunched our site, about six months ago, we had primary, secondary, and tertiary categories created. A user could reach all three levels by clicking through the site. Then we decided instead of linking to the tertiary categories, that we’d turn them into filters which can be applied at the secondary level. Thus, there is not actually a direct link to the 3rd level categories on the site. An important side note, I did check and confirm they are still included in the sitemap file. My initial thoughts were to forget any further optimization of those 3rd level categories, but as it turns out we still have rankings for some of them. Now the question… Because some of these pages are ranking and are found in the sitemap, should I include them in my SEO plan to build up and optimize, or because they are no longer linked to directly on the site will they eventually fizzle out (and I shouldn’t do anything further). This is such a unique situation that I am really looking for some insight from the community. Thanks!

Which is more valuable in a landing page, content or functionality?
I have two possible landing pages to focus off page links and paid ad links to, one page has space for content but basically only serves as a springboard to a map view style listing page. The idea is to use this page full of good content to build search engine value. The map view page is the most functional and is what visitors would ultimately be seeking, but has no real room for content. Are these content landing pages useful? Would it be better to focus on user functionality even though there is no space for content, and would search engines naturally apply for value to these pages? Are these landing pages necessary? The url's in question are http://www.rentcollegepads.com/marquette/search and http://www.rentcollegepads.com/marquette Thanks guys!

How many pages should be on landscapers website
Hi Guys, We have a good website strong onsite and offsite seo. A year ago, we had a 15 pages website for all main keywords we needed and we were on top 3 for most of these keywords in google. We were happy but we wanted more.. So we created lots of unique content targeting long tail keywords and created 100 more pages for the website. In next 4-5 months we lost positions for almost all our main keywords but got lots of longtails SERPs. Trafiic grew but the quality and the conversion rate shrinked. Everybody keep saying that it doesn't matter how many pages you have on the website as long as content is unique and I don't think it is true. I see lots of 3-5 paged websites without any seo in top 3 results in google. Does it mean that if I delete all these 100 pages that I created I will have more chances to get my main keywords SERP back? Basically does the seo juice that you have on domain is spreading across all pages and the more pages you have the less juice every page will get?

Website Restructure - Good or Bad for SEO?
Due to the fact that we aren't in the #1 position, (dropped from #5 to page 2 - You have to love Devs and IT), our heads have hired a SEO Audit/Consultant company to review everything we are doing. I would like to post some of the things they are telling us to do, in which I don't 100% agree with and would like some other professional feedback. Especially since their site isn't marketed very well. http://www.trupanionpetinsurance.com Disclaimer: (this site was a complete nightmare when I started a year and a half ago. Yes, there are many issues that still need to be addressed.) Website Restructure I agree we totally need to restructure our website. I have no idea what the previous SEO guy was thinking. The new SEO company is telling us that the structure is a big part of SEO. I don't believe so, but besides a little loss in 301 juice, is there any other downfalls? Are there any real benefits? Similar question asked the other day (and answered by me): http://www.seomoz.org/q/don-t-want-to-lose-page-rank-what-s-the-best-way-to-restructure-a-url-other-than-a-301-redirect
