Moz Local UK - Is Facebook or Google being used to verify NAP?
-
I am using Moz Local UK on behalf of a customer of mine.
There are two verified listings when I do a search for their business name and postcode.
There are a couple of slight variations in the two verified NAPs; One says Road, the other says Rd. One says their county, the other says their district - or East Sussex & Brighton & Hove.
Both their Facebook and Google+ pages say Road and East Sussex.
Both verified listings are wrong and in contrast to any Facebook or Google+ account.
Not too sure where to go with this and would appreciate any advice :0)

Hi Kurt,
Thanks for writing us and I hope this message finds you well! This question can get a bit tricky because there can often be a few facbook or google places pages with information very close to the desired listing can often create some confusion. I would select the facebook and google places partner is the listings that have been verified to see what we are pulling. Here is a screen capture for reference: http://screencast.com/t/m4t4yt7bti5
Also, this help hub article does a pretty good job of breaking down this process here: https://moz.com/help/guides/local/listing
If you can verify the pages that we are pulling from are not the ones associated with your clients business I would be happy to create a ticket with our engineering staff on your behalf.
Let me know what you find and I would be happy to help you with the rest of the process.
Thanks again for being awesome and I look forward to speaking with you soon!

Multiple Locations + Incomplete "Facebook" Listing
Hi! I am in charge of multiple listings for the same business because they have many offices throughout the US. Upon submitting these different locations on Moz Local, I have now run into an issue where all of the listings are not registering their correct Facebook page. On Facebook I have created separate pages for each location (using their location manager tool), but I am unsure on how to connect this to Moz. I have tried submitting the URL of the Facebook page in the "Advanced" tab in the "edit" area, but this does not seem to solve the problem. Any idea on why this is happening, and if there is an easy fix? Thanks everyone!

Will MOZ Local Claim the Foursquare listing for me?
Hello all! Well, basically that's the question in the subject! Will MOZ Local Claim the Foursquare listing for me? Do I need to first claim the listing in Foursquare and then and only then connect to MOZ Local? Because it seems to me that, if so, this is not happening currently. Thank you in advance!

MOZ Local not picking up citations
Hello - We like using the MOZ dashboard as an indicator of SEO health but have run into an instance where we have two citations with the correct NAP that are not being picked up in the MOZ report. The City Search and InsiderPages listings were build through YEXT and have been up for two months. Is there a way to report a match to MOZ?

How do I use Moz Local to delete citations for an incorrect business location?
For some reason when you search our business name in a specific English county (or town within that country) one of the results in the local pack is the home address and phone number for a private individual who is nothing to do with us. He is now being bombarded with calls from people who need our services, which is less than ideal for both parties. I have no idea how this happened, but by using the person's postcode and Moz Local I was able to find a list of citations which have his address and phone number listed with our business name, which I assume is causing Google to rank his house for our business in local search . I was wondering how can I use Moz Local to delete these citations so that Google stops providing this person's address when you search for our business. Thanks for your help

"We were unable to validate the following listings with Google or Facebook"
Hi, I'm trying to submit the Moz Local service and it keeps saying unable to validate the listing even though our Facebook and Google accounts have been provided and match the listing. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be struggling to find our listing for some reason.

Moz Local: How to Update Yahoo?
Hi - I am using Moz Local and trying to update a Yahoo local listing. The Moz link into Yahoo just leads to the Yahoo (Yext) paid service for multiple citation updates. How do you claim and update a Yahoo local business page? It looks like my page was automatically fed from Yelp to Yahoo, but there is no way to update anything in Yahoo without paying their fee. Help?
