Crawl Errors
-
Okay, I was just in my Google Webmaster Tools and was looking at some of the stats.
I have 1354 "not found" pages google says.
Many of these URL's are bizarre. I don't know what they are. Others I do know.
What should I do about this? Especially all the URL's I don't even know what they are?
-
Okay, and thanks Alan!!

These errors don't affect you negatively at all, it's more for you to find errors in your site. Follow Alan's advice by looking at the 'links' data and fix the one's that are caused by any coding problems in your site. You will always get a certain amount of bad links coming from external sources, you can either just leave them or if you are finding many links to the same 404 page you can actually recapture that link juice by 301 redirecting them to a relevant page on your site.
-
can you use those individually to get to a real page on the site? or even when you do them manually, do they lead to a 404 not found error? Links in Google's system come from somewhere - either within a site's architecture that site owners weren't aware of, or from 3rd party sources that got something wrong in how they found or scraped content. Many of the URLs Google reports show a "links" column off to the right you can click on to see where those URLs are located on the web either on your own site or another...

URLs dropping from index (Crawled, currently not indexed)
I've noticed that some of our URLs have recently dropped completely out of Google's index. When carrying out a URL inspection in GSC, it comes up with 'Crawled, currently not indexed'. Strangely, I've also noticed that under referring page it says 'None detected', which is definitely not the case. I wonder if it could be something to do with the following? https://www.seroundtable.com/google-ranking-index-drop-30192.html - It seems to be a bug affecting quite a few people. Here are a few examples of the URLs that have gone missing: https://www.ihasco.co.uk/courses/detail/sexual-harassment-awareness-training https://www.ihasco.co.uk/courses/detail/conflict-resolution-training https://www.ihasco.co.uk/courses/detail/prevent-duty-training Any help here would be massively appreciated!

" I checked it out and found the problem: 4 Soft 404's

41 Not Found's What do I need to do to fix this? Is it a problem or should I just ignore? I removed all the pages on WordPress but I need to do it somehow manually through Google? I have worked so hard on my SERP's that this will destroy me if I'm penalised. Please can someone advise?0 -
Crawl Issues / Partial Fetch Via Google
We recently launched a new site that doesn't have any ads, but in Webmaster Tools under "Fetch as Google" under the rendering of the page I see: Googlebot couldn't get all resources for this page. Here's a list: URL Type Reason Severity https://static.doubleclick.net/instream/ad_status.js Script Blocked Low robots.txt https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id AJAX Blocked Low robots.txt Not sure where that would be coming from as we don't have any ads running on our site? Also, it's stating the the fetch is a "partial" fetch. Any insight is appreciated.

When Should I Ignore the Error Crawl Report
I have a handful of pages listed in the Error Crawl Report, but the report isn't actually showing anything wrong with these pages. I am double checking the code on the site and also can't find anything. Should I just move on and ignore the Error Crawl Report for these few pages?

404 Error
Hello, Seomoz flagged a url as having a 404 client error. The reason the link doesn't return a proper content page is because the url name was changed. What should we do? Will this error disappear when Google indexes our site again? Or is there some way to manually eliminate it? Thanks!

Remove more than 1000 crawl errors from GWT in one day?
In google webmasters tools you have the feature "Crawl Errors". This one displays the top 1000 crawl errors google have on your site. I have around 16k crawl errors at the moment, which all are fixed. But i can only mark 1000 of them as fixed each day/each time google crawls the site. (This as it only displays top 1000 errors. When i have marked those as fixed it won't show other errors for a while.) Does anyone know if it's possible to mark ALL errors as fixed in one operation?

404 Errors After Site Migration
Hello - I'm working on a website selling fashion accessories. The site just went through a site migration from Yahoo! to Big Commerce. Now we have a high level of warnings and errors from the crawl. Few are mentioning sites I never seen before on the Yahoo! platform. I also notice that the pages crawled has doubled. How can I fix or did I do something wrong with migration? I was running the website with minimal errors and now overwhelmed with errors all the error updates. If I can get some assistance on what could be wrong, I would greatly appreciate. Thanks.

Lots of overdynamic URL and crawl errors..
Just wanted some advice. SEOmoz crawl found out about 18,000 errors. The error URLs are all mainly URLs like the one below, which seem to be the registration URL with a re-direct on, going back the product after registration: http://www.DOMAIN.com/index.php?_g=co&_a=reg&redir=/index.php?_a=viewProd%26productId=3465 We have the following line in the robots file to stop the login page from being crawled: Disallow: /index.php?act=login If I add the following, will it stop the error? Disallow: /index.php?act=reg Thanks in advance**.**
