How can I reduce my high bounce rate?

I've recently upgraded to a WP site but i have a very high bounce rate. It is typically 75-80% and recently I saw a 95% bounce rate. I found part of the issue was I neglected to change the urls for my adwords acct but I did that weeks ago and its still very high. Last week, for 1 day only i had 18% but it shot back up when I made some code changes that didn't pan out as expected. The site is an online store and is www.cheaptubes.com
I really need to fix it. my business is severely hurting. Any and all ideas are appreciated.

I've made some recent changes to adwords. Periodically google calls me up to review my adwords. Ultimately it is my responsibility but somewhere along the way the recommended spending more on display and some of the categories weren't the best choice. I think I've been creating my own spam traffic somewhat. Someone reviewed my site and recommended I institute remarketing on search, reallocation of the budget to favor search, and to pause some text display ads that were driving low quality traffic. The key factor is landing page experience. Landing page experience is poor = high bounce rate.
Whatever your customer thought they were clicking through to - the vast majority did not find. Do you want customers to find you for "carbon nanotubes" - if so what is the customer trying to answer when they type that query in...?

Hi Matt - I guess its both. I mainly look at my yoast analytic but google analytic says I have a70% bounce rate. I did recover my search engine rankings, for instance for graphene nanoplatelets I am # 4 in organic search. Most of my keywords I am on the 1st page of organic results for

90% website bounce rate - What am I doing wrong?
(Also not getting any comments on any of my articles) Hi, everyone! I'm very new to the community here, but I'm honestly at my wits end. I've run an affiliate marketing site for about 8 months now, and I've consistently had issues with bounce rate. I've tried to look into it myself, but I can't seem to determine what the issue is. A couple things, though - One, a lot of my traffic currently goes to two articles which don't actually have any intent to convert. I didn't even write those articles for the sake of conversion, they were just for fun and I thought they'd be useful to people who stumbled across them. So that could be one reason my bounce rate is so high, but I'm not sure.Anyway, I've asked a LOT of people in the past (I was part of an affiliate marketing community at one point - I asked the founders, friends, strangers, and other successful affiliate marketers about this) if there's anything wrong with my content, etc. The answer has always been no, that it's good. I'm sorry. My thoughts are a bit scatterbrained here. I just don't know what to do here. If all my content for 8 months has just utterly sucked, I'd feel pretty demotivated, but at least I could know what to improve going forward. That's what I need help with from you guys. Here's my website, though I'm not sure if links are allowed: http://cheapgamesguru.com/ My latest articles aren't really getting any traffic at all yet, so I'm not really concerned with them. Specifically, ignore my Future of the HTC Vive, Crusader Kings 2, and World of Warcraft articles. Those are part of my "fun blogs" where I just write about games and such with no real intent to convert. If they start getting traffic, then I'll go and add some more internal links or CTAs. I haven't checked my pagespeed recently, not since I switched to a new (Faster) host. I know users are far more likely to leave if the site doesn't load within 3 seconds. Another possible reason is referral spam, of course. I've tried my very best to eliminate it as much as possible, used filtering tools, etc. but I can't seem to completely eradicate it. Better click through rate in 2nd position?
I'm digging through my Google Webmaster tools and found something really odd. On one particular keyword phrase Google is reporting a higher CTR on the 2nd position over the first. A lot higher. Per Google the 2nd position is getting a 31% CTR. Has anyone else seen this?

Can Googlebot go through Paywalls?
So my website has a paywall that allows users that are IP Authenticated to look at content where unauthorized users don't have access to but this is hurting my SEO (since googlebot doesn't go past the paywall either). Is there any way that I could ask google to go through and crawl the entire site?

Why would my Bounce Rate drop from 40% to 2% over 3 days without making any major changes to my site www.hiltonhead.com?
Our Wordpress site has had an historical bounce rate of 40% for the last 3 years but last Thursday it dropped to 17%, Friday to 7% and now is running at 2%. The pageviews per visit have also increased from 3 to almost 6. Thanks

Can I use Google Analytics to find out actual times of visits during the day??
Hi, I'm a newbie at all this - I hope someone can help me. We're thinking of running time-specific offers to try and convert as many of our customer site visits as possible e.g. 15% discount if you call between, say, 2 and 5pm. It would be really helpful to me to find out what times of day people are visiting our site. I can't seem to find a way to do this on Google Analytics. Can anyone help? Thanks so much Sue

.com Doman and off-shore host for an Australia company, does this hurt ratings?
We have a site based in Australia that has been using the .com domain. Recently the .com.au became available and we purchased it and use a 301 redirect. Does having a site hosted off-shore and a .com rather than .com.au for a company affect the ratings in google.com.au for Australian traffic?
