How can I write unique and seductive product descriptions about multiple, very similar products?

We are an eCommerce store who sell personalised phone cases, macbook covers, mugs and the like.
Our target market is primarily 16-25 and female.
We're in the process of redesigning our website www.mrnutcase.com and we desperately need some more enticing product descriptions before the redesign goes live.
The problem is that most of our products are exactly the same. For example iPhone 5 case, iPhone 5S Case etc. At the moment our product descriptions are almost the same, but written in a slightly different way. Not only is this dangerous in terms of duplicate content, but it's also extremely boring for the user. With our users being young and female, writing about boring technical specifications isn't going to cut it with the crowd.
Obviously, i want each of our pages to rank in Google so I don't want to NoIndex or canonicalize any pages or anything.
How can I write unique and enticing product descriptions for very similar products?
Would appreciate any ideas!

Hi Danny,
Since product variants on the same detail page probably won't work for you, I think this is going to come down to how creative you can get. There are plenty of phone case manufacturers out there that all have different descriptions of their products which are essentially the same thing. Try to approach it from that angle, treat them as though they are different and start with a clean slate for every product.
You might want to have different people in your organization tackle similar products, so they're written from a different voice. When the same person writes all the descriptions, they end up using the same adjectives and thinking about the content in the same way, so it's hard to break the pattern on the 2nd, 3rd, etc. product descriptions.

When working with similar products, creating completely unique content is nigh on impossible. However, you can find different ways to write descriptions. Use synonyms of words and structure sentences slightly different. It requires time but is well worth it when you start to see the results.
My biggest tip to you is to analyse competitors content. See who's performing well in the rankings and see how they've created their content. Take the best and make it better. Good luck.

Can we use "top 10" in title?
Hi All, This is a query regarding title tag.I have a listing page with list of hotels in each city. To improve CTR, I used "Top 10 hotels in Boston" as title even though I am showing 25 hotels per page. The page takes about "hotels" but I didn't use "top 10" term anywhere in the page. Is this called keyword stuffing? Should I use "top 10" somewhere in the page as my title says so? Thanks for your help!

Multiple Cities in Title Tag
My question is how to avoid having a spammy title. Currently I'm working on a project where a business serves four cities, but two of them are out of its home state. I'm trying to create a title tag that is appealing to the eyes, and meets what I need it to do at the same time. I was wondering what everyone though of this sample Brand X Dealer Serving Newark, DE; New Castle, DE; Glens Mills, PA; and Springfield, PA I know that too much repetition can be a bad thing, but this might not be a big deal since they are separate instances. Can bad text URLs hurt pages?
If you have some pages that contain plain text URLs (not anchored links) that used to be good URLs, but are now bad, either because the website shut down or because it has been acquired by someone else and is now parked (or worse) - are those URLs enough to cause quality problems? For example: This information was brought to you by Waymaker http://www.waymaker.net These aren't the only ones. And yes, I know I should fix them, but there are probably 10,000 pages like it. I will fix them, but its not something I can do in a few minutes. (this one is easy to fix programmatically, but others are a lot more complex) So my question is: do you have actual experience that these are bad enough to cause ranking problems (making them low quality)

Optimise duplicate products or canonical link
We exist in a niche market with a good % of products that sell well at specific times of the year. Lets say for example a red cup can be sold as a christmas red cup and a valentine red cup or just a red cup. Would we be best to optimize each specific product specifically for those seasons/events on different pages or keep google pointed to just one page using a canonical link.
