MOZ Staff: Timeline for supporting SNI?
-
We have moved our blog to Amazon Web Services, and our website is soon to follow. For better or worse, AWS uses SNI, which MOZ doesn't currently support. Here are some recent forum posts about it:
- https://moz.com/community/q/804-https-ssl-error
This makes MOZ much, much less useful to me. MOZ staff, you have a timeline for when you'll implement support for SNI?
-
Hi MJ
Our new crawler has been released last week which supports SNI.
Check out our announcement here: https://moz.com/blog/new-site-crawl

Hello David,
Its over a year later. What is the current status?

Hi Lisa!
We have been adding campaigns to our beta for SNI which is now active in recent weeks. You can sign up here: https://moz.com/community/q/moz-pro-our-web-crawler-and-sites-that-use-sni

Hi, Matt. It's been a year; can you give me an ETA yet? MOZ is significantly less useful to us without this.
-
Hi Lisa! I'm afraid that at this point we really don't have any sort of ETA. It's definitely being worked on, though.
-
Thanks, David. Do you have an approximate ETA? 6 months? 2 years?
-
Hi Lisa!
We are already in the process of implementing SNI through writing a new crawler since we cannot simply update our existing one. This will take some time to build and I'm afraid I do not have an exact ETA for completion.
-
I've seen many people with SNI related issues. I am hoping Moz finds a way to work with it soon.

How can a page have high Google/ organic traffic but show no ranking keywords in Moz?
We have a page on our website with a higher than average number of pageviews, 85% of which came from Google organic search. When I research this page by entering the URL into the "exact page" keyword research tool, Moz says it has no ranking keywords. How can a page be earning organic traffic without ranking for any keywords?

I have recently switzed to SSL on ramxpert.dk, now Moz is not able to crawl the site anymore
Hi Moz I have recently switzed to SSL on ramxpert.dk, now Moz is not able to crawl anymore. When I look at the crawl report there is just one fault displayed: "403 : Received 403 (Forbidden) error response for page." How can i solve this issue asap? I was not aware that there would be any issues with moz when activating a SSL certificate on the site. The campaign with the problem is: ramxpert.dk. Regards

How can I find duplicate pages from a Moz Crawl?
We have many duplicate pages that show up on the Moz Crawl, and we're trying to fix these but it's very difficult because I can't see a way to isolate the code where the duplicate is found. For instance, http://experiencemission.org/immersion/ is one of our main pages, and the crawl shows one duplicate of http://experiencemission.org/immersion. It appears that one of our staff manually edited the source code in one of our pages but forgot the trailing slash. This would be an easy fix but the problem is that this page is linked to internally on our website 2423 times, so it's next to impossible to find the code that is incorrect. We have many other pages with this same basic problem. We know we have duplicates, but it's next to impossible to isolate them. So my question is this: When viewing the Moz Crawl data is there any way to see where a specific duplicate page link is located on our website? Thanks for any and all help!

Moz Rank Tracker - showing deleted subdomains results for entered keywords
We have recently deleted subdomains because they were causing duplicate page errors but now the Moz rank tracker is showing the subdomain key word results even instead of the exact url we entered. So for example wine cellar is showing up for a deleted subdomain (winecellar.vigilantinc.com) instead of the entered exact url of (vigilantinc.com/winecellars/) Please advise. Thanks!
