Image results Bing vs Google

I have a website with a number of images and I have optimized all of the images on both a file name and ALT text level, relevant to content on the page they are published on. I haven't created a separate image sitemap, but the strange thing is that Google has all of my images indexed and they can be found for the right keywords, but when I look in BING! images, there is no image indexed available at all ...

Hi there
One thing to remember is that Google and Bing are two separate search engines with different crawlers and different processes. This could just be a matter of Bing not seeing your images yet. One thing I would do, is create a Bing Webmaster Tools profile and submit your sitemap to them. This will definitely help you! Keep in mind that you don't have to create a second sitemap, you can include images in your regular sitemap XML. (ScreamingFrog can do this for you!)
Also, take a look at Schema opportunities that will help you tag images on pages properly. There have been studies that show that pages with Schema rank higher than a page without Schema, so it only helps you there as well!
Be patient, it sounds like you're on the right path, but with search engines, it's unfortunately a waiting game sometimes and it sounds like you're no different than the rest of us!
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Google Places UK address has randomly changed to a US address in Texas!
Hello, one of my clients has 2 Google Places listings, both UK addresses. However one of them has randomly changed to a US address in Texas, and it won't let me update the country unless I create a new listing.... https://www.google.co.uk/maps/preview#!q=the+43+club&data=!4m16!1m15!4m8!1m3!1d22152595!2d12.5088275!3d47.73855!3m2!1i1440!2i774!4f13.1!7i10!9m1!6e0!10b1!17b1!25b1!6m1!1e1&fid=1 As you can see the second listing is Texas, but it should be: Tall Trees Cottage, Winkfield Road, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 7EX. 0208 144 0166 Any help would be great. Thanks

Does anyone know a browser extension that could show me the position an image has in Image Search?
Hello and thank you for your attention! Does anyone know a browser extension that could show me the image ranking in Google Image SERP - similar to what SEOmoz Tool does for regular search - shows you a number under each result, in the left side. Thank you so much!

Prioritising certain images in search results
I am currently putting together a website for my hobby (collecting cycling jerseys) that I can then use to improve my SEO knowledge. I have tried to optimize the image names so that when somebody searches for a particular item, the image is shown in Google Images. For example; if you type in "ADR jersey" in google; it gives the following image; http://cycling-jersey-collection.com/images/150px/2013-02-07-adr-fangio-ioc-mbk-1987-team-retro-jersey-maillot-trikot.jpg Whereas I want it to prioritize this one; http://cycling-jersey-collection.com/images/2013-02-07-adr-fangio-ioc-mbk-1987-team-retro-jersey-maillot-trikot.jpg The smaller image is used on a "Browse" the collection page whereas the bigger one is just used on the single, specific page. Can anybody offer any up-to-date advice? Thanks! Andy

Google local
If you perform a search in Google maps for our company and you are not signed in, it returns our Google + page, with reviews, photos, directions and about tabs, which is fine but, when you click on any of the photos, there is a window that opens to the right where you can edit the location where the photo has been taken, a comment box, photo details and above all, right at the top, MY NAME! Why my name? This is the business page, I don't want people to see that. The snip is below. Thanks! g3OTPRp

Image SEO - Does having multiple sites using same image help?
I'd assume that if many websites reference the same image on a server that this image would rank higher in image results than a similar image that is only used on 1 website.I have yet to do any testing with this to be certain, but how important does this factor seem to be in regards to image SEO?
