URL Keywords
-
I am doing SEO on our eCommerce website and read that I should include keywords in the URL
The original URL is: http://thegiftlinks.com/personalized-wedding-glass.html
Title page: Wedding gift Dubai - Anniversary gift Dubai - Personalized Wedding Glass
Meta Data:
Wedding gift Dubai - Anniversary gift Dubai - Personalized Wedding Glass
It is great for a wedding gift and anniversary gift for friends and family members. If I will include the keyword to the url it will be like this
http://thegiftlinks.com/personalized-wedding-glass.html/Wedding-gift-Dubaiis this the correct way to include keywords in the URL?
Thanks

Hi GR,
Thank you very much for answering my question and the taking time to send an image with hierarchy.
We will surely take your suggestion and remove .html and to include H1 tags.
You are very helpful, Thanks again.

Hello abdulw,
Im assuming that your focus keyword is Wedding gift Dubai.
Yes, it's always good to have the keyword in the URL and some times better if it is exact match.
I'd avoid the caps and (for readable purposes) try to loose the .html, looking like this:http://thegiftlinks.com/personalized-wedding-glass/wedding-gift-dubai
Another optimization that you should do is to include that focus keyword in the H1 tag. Right now your H1 is Personalized Wedding Glass, i've added an image showing your heading tags distribution. That is also not right, the hierarchy should be complete and looks like some of those are buttons without any information at all.
Hope I've helped.
Best luck.
GR.

URL Question
This url looks bad: http://www.patrickmunoz.com/#!classes/c1vw1 And when you click around the page change doesn't actually occur, it's a fade into the next page. I think this is a major problem for rankings. Exact keyword vs connecting words.
Hi guys, I'm wondering if there's a huge difference between exact keywords vs connecting words. i.e. "limo service chicago" vs " limo service in chicago" or something similar. It's tough to have 4+ keywords on a page sound great without using some form of connecting word. Will google still rank the page as high if I use connection words in a few instances of the keyword? Or should I just leave the exact keyword fir all instances. Thanks in advance. Aron

Advice with keywords - category - Forum
Hiya guys Everyone has been really good to me on here, just wanted a bit of advice with the keywords on my forum. my website is a nightlife forum for the UK, each city has its own section. Each section has a eg: _What's on in Birmingham? Club Nights, Upcoming Events, Promotions _ as the Title category, Should I drop the Club Nights, Upcoming Events, Promotions and put that in the description of the forum. So it'll just be What's on in Birmingham? with a description Find Club night information, Upcoming events and pr............. eg Just wondering if it was to stop searches been made, like, Club nights in Birmingham etc. from being targeted. Your thoughts please guys Thanks for reading Lukescotty

Targeting local keywords and service areas.
Hi, I run a small photo booth rental business in San Francisco, CA that serves the greater Bay Area. I've created different webpages for each location that we serve, ie: "San Francisco Photo Booth", "Oakland Photo Booth", "San Jose Photo Booth", etc.... I'm assuming that for each city, the strongest keyword would be "City-Photo Booth". However, I also want to target different variations of the keyword, such as: San Francisco Photo Booth: -Photo Booth San Francisco -SF Photo Booth -San Francisco Photobooth -San Francisco, CA Photo Booth -etc.... Will adding these keywords onto the same webpage dilute the relevance of my main keyword "San Francisco Photo Booth"? Also, is there any way to place these words within the text of the webpage so that it does not sound akward and unnatural to the reader? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Spammy keywords on a page
My client's website has a box of text on each page that is spammy and horrible to read and stuffed with keywords. The text boxes are there only for search engines as they mean nothing to humans. I say remove them as it must be doing more harm than good. However, my client is scared to remove them as the text has been there on each page for ten years and he is worried about a drop in visitor numbers if they are removed. Is he right to be worried?

Singular X Plural on keywords
Hi there... I´s always confused about which one should I focus, keywords in singular or plural. Some says: "look at Google Insight and look which one has more traffic", other says "go for the plural, because you´ll get both keywords at the same time (ex: dogs and _cat_s). Which one is the right way ?
