On Page Grader - URL not accessible
-
We have tried to use the On Page Grader today and it is coming back with URL not accessible for all pages on our website.
We previously used the On Page Grader on Friday 10th Nov for a couple of product pages with no issues. Since then, the only changes we have made on the websites is updating some downloadable documents. We have done this several times before and it has never affected Moz.
We have not changed the page URLs, and therefore do not know why it is now not working. The pages are working fine on the website with no issues. A link to one of the pages is below.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Unfortunately this has happened to a few users today and it appears that we are currently having issues validating URLs (with both our Crawl Test & On Page Grader tool). Our engineers will be investigating into this and hopefully we will see a solution shortly.
Check out our health page for the latest updates on this issue: https://health.moz.com/
Sorry for the inconvenience!

I am experiencing the same problem. Pages that are easily checked with this tool in the past are now giving us the same error as the OP.
Is the tool down for maintenance or am I missing something?

Top pages > PNGs, JPGs & PDFs > What to do?
After exporting Top pages list in Moz Pro, I noticed lots of pages with high PA (page authority) are actually random images (.png & .jpg) and documents (.pdf). Question 1: Should I make a redirect 301 from an image/document to the actual webpage? If not, what should I do to keep the ranking, but point the URL to the correct place? In addition, lots of highly ranking URLs are actually outdated. They are coming from the old website. I switched to the new one more than a year ago. Question 2: If I create a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one, will I keep the high ranking? Thanks,

The Page Optimization tool keeps asking for several changes that are already in place! How can I get it to recognize them?
Hi there...the Page Optimization tool shows a 71 score for one of my pages, but the most critical needs it noted have already been in there for some time. What's the deal with this? Thanks...

What are the best tools to help analyse on page optimisation for pages on development server and not currently live
currently using seo quake and moz tool bar but wondered if there is a better suggestion that will look at pages that are only accessible on the internal network on development server. Very restricted in what can be installed

Www.site.com linking to pages www10.site.com
The root domain of the website in question is www.site.com but all subpages are on the subdomain www10.site.com (I'm pretty sure it's a subdomain, at least, used for load balancing?). A funny thing happens on this site with the moz toolbar. I visit a subpage, www10.site.com/articles/articletopic1 That page has a lot of links on it, all of them visibly going to the subdomain www10.site.com. However, the moz toolbar shows some of them as Internal links and most of them as External links. As far as I can tell, there is no real rhyme or reason to the difference between the links that are highlighted as Internal vs. External. The link structures vary greatly: Some are properly structured www10.site.com/blogs/category
Moz Bar | | Motava
And some are poor like www10.site.com/articles/show_articles.php?section=category1 So a couple questions here: Does this subdomain www10 have a detriment on the rankings of subpages?
What could possibly cause the internal links on these subpages to be highlighted as external pages with the moz toolbar?1 -

Duplicate page content/page titles on tages
Hello everyone. New to the community and loving it already. Question, I am receiving an error of 6 pages with duplicate content and page titles. A majority of these are tag pages. Should I be worried about these? IN the column listed duplicate urls it is listing 0 ( screen shot: http://screencast.com/t/azvuVk0ucWt) Are these tags a problem? Will SEO be hurt because of this? What are TAG pages? Actually pages, categories, should I eliminate these?

Crawl Diagnostics - nofollow - reducing duplicate pages
Hi I'm looking at a crawl diagnostic report, I can see I have many duplicate pages, the reason for this is that when a brand filter is applied to a page. IE
Moz Bar | | chameleondm
www.mysite.com/mycategory - lets say this is the product listing page
www.mysite.com/category/mybrand - and this is the same page but with a brand filter applied
www.mysite.com/category/myotherbrand - and this is the same page but with a different brand filter applied I had intially appendeded the meta title, description and keywords with some extra content if a brand filter was applied, because the page on the whole does have different content. IE I would have a custom meta information, H1 tag and products on that page just for that specific brand.
However I am wondering if these two pages are really just competing with each other as lots of the content will be the same. Should I scrap that approach and use either nofollow on the brand filter link, or simply use a canonical. Thanks, James1
