Anyway to Verify MozRank & MozTrust Scores w/alternate method?
-
Hey everyone, I am wondering if there is a way to confirm or reinforce what am i seeing on a webpage using the Moz Toolbar? When I go to this website here: abilogic.com they have a high page/domain trust rank. However, when I filter down to the niche category I would be interested in submitting too abilogic.com/dir/Home/Gardens/ - Then everything, including PageRank, drops to zero.
The question I have, is I am not sure if this is really just a poorly constructed and untrustworthy page as identified in the Moz Toolbar. Or is it possible that these page categories have recently been redeveloped or something like that, and that's why the deeper pages are not showing any benefits?
Thanks for any help or tips!

Nah... They keep charging me. What's up with that?!

It does help, thank you Rand. I wonder if you participate enough to qualify for the free membership because of your contributions. Wouldn't that be great if you didn't have to pay for pro?

Hi Jer,
There's a bunch of possibilities. It could be those pages were produced after the last mozRank/PageRank updates, in which case they wouldn't have any scores until the metrics are recalculated (with mozRank and all the other Linkscape metrics, that's monthly, with PageRank from Google, it's random - anywhere from 1-12 months).\
It's also possible that link juice simply isn't trickling down to deep pages on the site well due to the architecture, link structure and lack of external links to those page. Typically, PageRank + mozRank on internal pages, especially those that are many clicks away from the home page, tends to be lower.
As far as I know, no one else on the web publicly calculates or shows a score similar to PageRank/mozRank.
Hope that helps!

Big drop in Domain Authority score
Hi I am managing a website, that in May was indexed at 67 i DA - then we installed SSL and we dropped to 26 and we're still there - I do not now, how I can change my site, so that I can regain some of the DA. It is a wordpress site and we used a free SSL certificate and I have detected no problem with the 301 redirects. Do you have any insights or tips?

MoZ & Other Keyword Tools
Hi There, 1- Does MoZ provide the data on “which keyword searchers are searching in a particular market”, so that I can make a better decision regarding my own keywords? If MoZ does not do this what other best tool is out there in market for this particular purpose? 2- Suppose I decide some keywords for my site and start doing optimization for them. "Does MoZ tell me “how much traffic my those keywords are receiving with the passage of time”. If MoZ does not do this what other best tool is out there in market for this particular purpose? 3- Does Moz give "data on competitors keyword activity also"? If MoZ does not do this what other best tool is out there in market for this particular purpose? Hope somebody with concrete knowledge and experience will enlighten me. Cheers Tanveer

Spam Score
My site has a spam score of 2/17. How bad is this? Domain authority is 23 and page authority is 32. The domain is www.nyc-officespace-leader.com. In total, according to MOZ, there are 38 inbound links. Spam scores for the inbound links are as follows: 1 (8)
Moz Pro | | Kingalan1
1 (6)
2 (5)
2 (4)
3 (3)
16 (2)
4 (1)
8 (0) The number in the parentheses represents spam score. Does it make sense to get some of these links removed? Is it necessary for me to remove links from all sites with a spam score of 5,6,7,8? If we remove these lower quality links will Domain Authority and Page Authority improve? Thanks, Alan1 -

SEOMoz Q&A having some issues?
Apologies if this has been asked. I was browsing Q&A and got a Ruby error page, reloaded and everything was fine. However a bunch of the topics are kind of messed up, and it looks like a chunk of them are missing now. For example my 'questions I've answered' section of My Q&A only has the newest question and the oldest question, and when I sort the SEOMoz Tools category by newest I get one recent post and then the next one is from November of last year. You guys having database problems?

How do you guys/gals define a 'row?'
I have a question about calls to the API and how these are measured. I noticed that the URL Metrics calls allow a batch of multiple URLs. We're in a position where we need link data for multiple websites; can we request a single row of data with link information for multiple URLs, or do we need to request a unique row for each URL?

How do I get a MozRank?
Hi all, Hoping that one of you Guru's might be able to shed a little light for me please. we launched the online arm of our gold bullion business on the 21st of February and I signed up for an account here on the 23rd of Feb. I don't have a MozRank for my site yet and I'd love to get one. The mozbar that I installed shows o linkes from 0 root domains etc. but google webmaster can see links that are inbound to my site. My questions are: Do I have to wait the 45-60 days that I believe it might take SEOmoz to give me a rank- or is there a process that I manually kick off? Is there anything other than google webmaster that I should be looking at to try and make sure that I am on the right track; I'd hate to go 45-60 days in the wrong direction before realising there is an issue. thanks in advance, YGF

Historical Linkscape/OSE data available?
Hey Mozzerati, I'm curious if there's a way to expose and analyze historical data from each previous Linkscape/OpenSiteExplorer (OSE) update. Essentially, I'm looking for something similar to MajesticSEO's Backlink History tool that can show you both daily links over a short time as well as cumulative links over a long period. I think the utility of such a tool is to see which competitors have gained many links over a short period, signalling that they're engaging in some form of link-building/-buying/-baiting activity. Is there any way to yield this data (other than to record it manually after each Linkscape/OSE update) from SEOmoz PRO tools?
