I have 702 'No-Index' warnings. Is this bad?
-
Moz has giving me 702 'No-Indexed Meta-descriptions' warnings. My page has quite a bit of product pages as it is a commercial chemical company which sells cleaning products for restaurants, hospitals, etc. Im wondering if this is effecting my site negatively?

Hi Scott,
As I've said before, having a lot of noindexed pages is not an issue.
What you should focus your efforts is in finding any mistakenly noindexed page. And yes, Yoast has a config that makes archive and tag pages noindex.
Hope it helps.
Best luck.

I am seeing the same issue, but mostly with archives and author pages. Same resolution? Check Yoast for index?

Hi there,
Cool that you are using Wordpress and YOAST, this could make the job a lot easier.
I´d recommend you analyzing every page that Moz flag as having noindex, then consider whether you want those pages to be indexed and shown in Google Search Results. So, as long as that pages have the noindex tag and that is correct, then you should not worry about that.
And again, having some pages noindexed _wont affect negatively_your sitewide SEO performance.
Hope it helps.
Best luck.

Hi Gaston,
The bulk of the issues are individual product pages. We are a chemical provider for restaurants, schools, commercial laundry products, etc. Its built primarily as a resource center for our service reps. and customers looking for a chemical provider and product information. (I would say very rarely would a customer search by name a product of ours). We aren't an e-commerce site. Our company is geared more primarily as a service company which offers chemical products and we service the machines, dispensers, inventory, and delivery. Our CRM is WordPress and Yoast is our SEO plugin (basic version).

Hi there,
Having pages with nonidex tag is perfectly normal, the thing is to be sure that you dont want those pages to be indexed.
Try checking up wich pages have that noindex tag and analyze whether its correct.Would you mind giving us more information about the website? how its built, wich CMS are you using? Have you installed any SEO plugin?
In regards to affect negatively, having pages with noindex wont hurt you. UNLESS, any of your importat pages are noindex.
Remember that a noindex tag is a really strong signal to Google and if present, then that page will not be shown in google search results.Hope it helps.
Best luck.

What Should I Do About Duplicate Title Warning From Category Pages Of Store?
I know a lot of the MOZ warnings can be ignored, however, I'm trying to figure out of this one should be added to that list: my store has urls setup like this for categories: https://www.mysite.com/sweaters https://www.mysite.com/sweaters/page/2 The meta title is "Sweaters" for both pages. Is that bad practice? I don't think I can automatically change the meta title to to Sweaters Page 2 or even want to. or should I do that? Or just ignore these type of warnings?

Why don't I have permission to view the update calendar?
I am trying to figure out when the next Open Site update will be. In the past I have just gone here - https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/345964-linkscape-update-schedule It is saying I do not have permission even though I am logged in. Anyone else having issues? Or if anyone can see it can they see when the next update is?

I'm seeing duplicate links listed in open site explorer. Can anyone explain why this might be happening?
For each link listed in Open Site Explorer, I am seeing two identical entries. You can see why this might be a problem for both workflow and data accuracy. Any ideas why this might be happening? Is there a setting or filter that I'm missing?

Why can't I change the domain being tracked in my campaign?
Apologies if this has already been answered a million times and/or if I'm posting this in the wrong place... I did look, but couldn't find the answer anywhere... I just realized that all this time I have been tracking www.mydomain.com in my campaign for a long time now, while I should probably have been tracking *.mydomain.com. I wanted to change this, but it looks like I can't. If I have to set up a whole new campaign, with all of the same keywords, competitive sites to track, etc., that will take forever. Why can't I just change it so that my campaign starts tracking *.mydomain.com instead of www.mydomain.com from now on? Thank you!

Website is not being indexed in Mozscape
Hi, We launched a website Mid-March. Strangely it's not yet being indexed by the Mozscape crawler (therefore I can't use tools like Open Site Explorer). Open Site Explorer keeps telling me: "No Data Availible for this URL". I don't think it's a crawl error of some sort. Google Webmaster tools tells me everything is fine (no crawl errors). Search Engine indexing is also fine. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

'Appropriate Use of Rel Canonical', Critical Factor but appears correct on page
Hi, Trying to get the following page ranked unsuccessfully.... http://www.joules.com/en-GB/2/Collections-Quilted-Jackets/c01c02.r16.1 Instead a product page is being ranked, shown below.... http://www.joules.com/en-GB/Womens-Quilted-Jacket/Navy/M_HAMPTON/ProductDetail.raction When I run the on page report card it advises that the Rel Canonical tag needs to point to that page, but we have checked and it looks to be doing that already. Has anyone else had an issue like this? Thanks, Martin

How many of my linked pages should I redirect (301's)
I'm moving my store to a new site and will have a much friendlier but completely different URL structure. I used Open Site Explorer to find inbound links to 513 pages and have done about half so far. The remaining pages have one link each at a page authority of 27 or less - but there are still 250+ of them. I have to manually view each old page, search for the product on the new site, and enter the redirect as there is no way to translate old URL's to new ones. How important is it for rankings to redirect the remaining 250 or so pages?

What's the best research tool for measuring blogger outreach success?
I'm looking for the best MOZ Pro research tool to track the success of our fledgling blogger outreach/link building efforts. Should we use Open Site Explorer's "Full List of Link Metrics", or is there something better or more granular for counting and analyzing inbound blog links? Thanks!
