Hi Tvisha.
Interesting question and very weird all round, hopefully Eli and the team can get to the bottom of it.
Few observations from me (Troop Messenger):
- I agree, my Link Explorer also has it marked as no-follow. Curiously using the Moz Toolbar, the highlight follow link doesn't work for me. Neither does highlight no-follow links. Only one which works is the external link
- Inspecting the line of code rel="follow" isn't actually a valid property as far as I'm aware: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/96569?hl=en Perhaps this could be confusing Roger?
Quite far-fetched but the only wild theory I have. Or perhaps it was no-followed when Moz originally crawled it and the links have since changed.
Hope you get to the bottom of if, it's a weird anomaly!
Nick

Using Link Tracking list to track 301 backlinks for my main site backlink profile?
Greetings, I am utilizing link tracking list to keep a track of 301 redirect backlinks to my main site because these links do not as yet show up in my backlink profile on Moz. Will adding these to the tracking list with the redirected domain as the target / source url show up in my main site backlink profile eventually?

Open Site Explorer -> Just Discovered -> Internal Links: Only shown 1 url link per day
Hi, We have a page that have like 10-15 new content/pages per day.
Link Explorer | | Inspiringinterns
eg. domain.com/post-id-01/, omain.com/post-id-02/, omain.com/post-id-03/ etc
But somehow, under Just-Discovered, internal links only show 1 per day when it suppose to display like 10-15.
The layout for each pages is exact same except for the content changes and the url's ID changes. Our competitor on the other hand, they have like 5 new page per day, but somehow Moz shows their internal links as 25 per days. Each of their new url have 4 more prefix number.
Eg:
new-page-01?track=990
new-page-01?track=991
new-page-01?track=992 etc
The above example url is technically as 1 page if without the "?" affix. Whiles all our new pages/url have unique id, but Moz only show 1 a day. Please advise on how to get Moz to shows all the new pages in Just-Discovered (internal link). Thanks, Cam0 -
GTLDs in Open Site Explorer
Curious to know if anyone has run into a similar problem - I entered a site containing a gTLD (.dog extensions) in OSE and it gave me an error (screenshot attached). I checked another tool (ahrefs.com) and was able to extract some data. Does anyone know if these type of domains are not included in OSE and/or why there was an error? Appreciate any insight! Open Site Explorer Top Pages https Title tag issue
Hello, everybody. I've noticed this strange thing in Top Pages reporting of Open Site Explorer. If i do a report for any website which doesn't have security certificate installed, such as http://www.hyperlinksmedia.com I get normal results, with title tag shown for every page, but, if i do a report for website with Security certificate, such as https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com, report is coming back for non-secure URL version (http:...), so, it says "No Title" for any pages. I wonder, if it influence PA and DA scores. Although, if i run full crawl test, then i shows all meta and title tags for SSL version of a website's url. Thanks!

Fresh Web Explorer daily mentions by email not working
Hi A few months ago I setup daily mentions from Fresh Web Explorer so I get alerts to when my site or my competitors site gets a new back link, and I did get an email in the first few weeks, but I haven't gotten once since. Today I check 1-2 of my competitors fresh links and they have gotten some in the last month, but I got no alerts. I have it setup like this
Link Explorer | | PaddyDisplays
rd:competitor.com But now i'm thinking because technically "www" is a subdomain is that why I'm not getting any alerts, do I need to set it up with www and non www for each domain? ( if so that's going to eat to my limit pretty quickly, which would suck), or is there something else I'm missing? Thanks0
