Hello,

Is Creating Tables with Multiple Links and using schema markup bad SEO?

For example I have a real estate website which I have a hierarchy of home page -> County pages -> city pages-> blog posts.. However at the bottom of the county pages I list the city pages i serve under a table with links..

Hi there,

Should be OK as long as you don't repeat the same schema in the same page... One schema type per page.

Do javascript pseudo-links dilute link juice ?

Hi, On our ecommerce, we use multiple pseudo-links for the layered navigation (to filter by color, site, etc), so that google doesn't crawl every combination of filters. I know this kind of links don't pass link juice and don't get crawled (provided you hide the target urls in your javascript). But, as there is an "onclick" property, I'm afraid that google could understand that these are links, and treat them the same way as nofollowed links (not following them but diluting link juice anyway). Do you know if this is the case ? Thanks,

Linking from Subfolders

Hi, on my new theme there are a bunch of links from subfolders to pages that aren't in a sub folder, these pages also don't have links on the home page. Is there an seo issue when linking from subfolders to pages that aren't. I don't know if I'm wording this properly but what I mean is, mysite/project/project1 linking to mysite/post.

Link juice/PR to social media platforms

Hi, Do you know if Google gives as much link juice/PR to social media platforms (when linking to them from a website), as the give to perhaps another internal/external link? The thought is: As Google is getting more intelligent and gives social media that much value in SERP, would the pass on/through link juice to the social media. Hope my question is understandable. Do the rules of “natural” linking apply to on-site crosslinking as well?

At an SEO conference I attended the speaker said that Google wants the anchor text of a link to be more natural. Specifically you mentioned that the anchor text should be the company brand, the domain name/URL or a call to action (ex. “Click here.”) I thought this was an interesting idea for offsite linkbuilding. BUT, my question is…Does the rule also apply for on-site crosslinking between my webpages? Is there potential harm or a benefit to adding keywords to the anchor text of the links within my site?

Removing Tag Cloud to Decrease the number of On-Site Links?

I have website which has a tag cloud at the footer. This tag cloud or tag box has about 40 links pointing to different words(tags) pages. I believe that the tags are hardly ever clicked on by visitors, since its at the footer. If the tag cloud is removed would this decrease the number of on-site links? According crawl diagnostics summary I have 195 pages with too many links. Would removing it help? And what kind changes can I expect if they removed (seo wise)?

Do I need canonical link on target page?
