UK vs GB
-
When selecting which search engines to monitor for a campaign both Google and Yahoo offer 2 very similar options.
"Great Britain" and "United Kingdom"
Bing only offers "United Kingdom"
From a technical point of view, what is the difference between these options and which is the better to use?
-
When I googled the differences Northern Ireland was the answer that came up.
But.... AFAIK there is no option to search google just for Great Britain.
So does google have an option to avoid NI results and if not - what does SEOMoz do differently (if anything) between the 2?
-
I have always used UK but have often wondered why the two options are on here too.
The difference between UK and GB 'in real life' is that the UK includes North Ireland while GB does not, I would assume this would be the same here?

MoZ vs SEMRush - Keyword Difficulty and Keyword With Low Competition.
Hi, My question is very focussed regarding these 2 tools. Is it correct to understand that MoZ tells keyword difficulty and not which keyword is easy to compete. And SEMRush tells which keyword is easy to compete but does not tell which keywords are difficult to compete? I mean one (Moz) misses the one part and the other (SEMRush) misses the other part. Hope some will enlighten me to the point. Best

Local Vs Organic Search Keyword Ranking
This isn't a question. It's a simple suggestion that I'm hoping will inspire a change at Seomoz. I love what this site does. What it helps us do as community. What it helps us achieve collectively. This suggestion is based on that love... I think we all can agree that the rankings between local reviews and organic reviews are very different beasts entirely. They should then be treated this way within the Seomoz data with separate reports. The vast majority of reputable small businesses don't care about national rankings, but would rather get to the top of the local charts with their 5-star reviews. Can you imagine the power of a report that is dedicated to helping you shape your client's results to achieve this? I like seeing the results of local in the keyword report, but we need a report dedicated to local search to make a difference in our rankings. With all of the recent chatter on local search, I'm surprised this isn't already available.

Why the discrepancy in organic traffic - monthly report vs analytics
I've been going through my monthly reports, and noticed something odd in the SEO Moz report section showing the visits from organic (non-paid) search engine results. When checking this data against the same data in Google Analytics, everything for the most part seems to line up with the exception of two dates: Jan 09 and Jan 23 of the SEO Moz report show 0 visits, but Analytics shows I do have visits on those days. Any ideas why this would be in the report or what I'm missing? IsePEAS hWBASOd

UK and GB when selecting targeted engines in campaign management
HI Anyone know the difference between selecting UK or GB when choosing your engines to track keyword rankings? Is it that one of the options only includes pages from the UK while the other tracks all pages, but from a UK rankings point of view - ie pages hosted overseas will still rank. - if so, which is which? Or, and this is very unlikely, is it simply that the GB data does not include Northern Ireland as the UK is technically the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. NI is in UK but not in GB. Nice and confusing! Thanks

& VS & - Title too long?
It seems that SEO Moz inturprets & as the html ascii character code: & in my titles. This is pushing the titles over the limit by 1 or 2 characters in some cases. Does this matter? does google actually treat & the same way? or is this an SEO Moz bug?

SEOMoz PR vs. Google PR
I have the SEO MozBar set up and for one of the sites we are maintaining, it is showing them on a 59 as PA in the MozBar. When I check it on Google PR, it has either no info or a 0. http://www.prchecker.info was one of the ones I found which shows them as 0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
