Seaches & Clicks Research

Is there a way to check the percentage of clicks on specific websites based on searches that people do? For example, say I searched "sneakers", what percentage of viewers clicked on a particular site.

Thanks!

There is a company is the UK that offer a tool that does this. Not sure if this is the right link but the tool is part of Experian.
http://www.experian.co.uk/integrated-marketing/web-analytics.html
They call me a month or so ago to demo it. It had amazing data but was extremely expensive (circa £10-50k per year if I remember correctly).

I do not know of such a tool - maybe try SEMRush? They have a lot by way of competitive analysis.
-
I mean for all sites. ie: competitors
-
You mean for your own site? yo can see this in both bing and goole wmt
-
Thank you - this is general info. I was wondering if there's an actual tool to see the click-through rate for certain keywords.
-
You could use the percentages from any of the click through rate reports out there for a rough guess;
Coconut Headphones (there's a 2nd part to this article too)
Bear in mind, everyone's reports are always a bit different. There are so many variables to estimating click through rate, its nearly impossible to come up with exact percentages across the board, as they can vary by industry, amount of PPC ads, local search vs general search, if there's videos or images in the result etc.
But hope those links help!

My website is not configured in AMP pages, but it is mobile-friendly.
Hi
Algorithm Updates | | rayabahadur
My website is not configured in AMP pages, but it is mobile-friendly.
Last month, my website was ranked to 10 positions for this keyword (Magento Development Company).
Sometimes it's showing on 25 positions but not in the top 5 positions. Here is my URL (for analysis):
https://www.nevinainfotech.com/magento-development-service/
Would you please explain why my keyword rankings are often not showing in the search listings?
Would you mind letting me know is there anything I need to change?

How much do branded search organic traffic & direct traffic impact the ranking for their non-branded topic/keyword?
Hi Moz community, We can see many websites with a reputation will have more number of visitors landing with these two types of traffic mostly (>90%): organic traffic of brand queries and direct traffic. Will these visits help and impact the ranking of these websites for the keywords/topics they been employing? Ex: Moz will have many such visitors. Will this really impact the ranking of Moz for non-brand queries they try to rank for, like "SEO Software". If so, will this have a huge impact or it's just a minor ranking factor. Because we have this with our website and we don't see such boost in rankings compared to our competitors with less direct traffic; where as I been looking at some SEO articles that direct traffic is one of the most important ranking factors. Thanks

Clicks are the ultimate factor to stick the page on position?
Hi all, We know many factors contribute to make a page rank at (top) position like somewhere in top 5 results. I have seen some of our pages suddenly spike to that positions and locked there. They been receiving clicks too. Will they be dropped if they don't get estimated clicks? I think many factors contribute to make a page rank higher but clicks are the one factor which makes the page consistently rank at its best position. What do you say? Thanks

Anchor name URLs & anchor blocks: how Google sees them?
Hi guys, Anchor name URLs & anchor blocks: how Google sees them? As far as I know Google hasn't ever recommended anchor name URLs and anchor blocks, mostly when you have one page site, but I have ran into an organic result with an hyper-link to an anchor name URL. anchor name link There is a proper link and there aren't on the page and the code the words "Jump to". It means Google has put those words there and it has also taken the header of that block as anchor text. Why has Google placed that link? The query is "faqs umbrella company", so I thought that Google has seen "faqs umbrella company" like "what is the most popular faq about umbrella companies?" and therefore perhaps the correct answer could be "Is an umbrella company the only option I have? What are the alternatives?". Although, IMHO the most popular FAQ on Umbrella Companies should always be "what is an umbrella company". Unfortunately, that page is only worthy of third Google organic result page and there is no hint of rich snippet or any kind of conversational/KBT optimisation on its source code. no-rich-snippet Someone has any idea of why Google shows that link and if it's something that we can optimise in our pages? Post penguin & panda update. what would be a good seo strategies for brand new sites
Hi there. I have the luxury of launching a few sites after the penguin and panda updates, so I can start from scratch and hopefully do it right. I will get SEO companies to help me with this so i just want to ask for advices on what would be a good strategies for a brand new site. my understand of the new updates is this content and user experience is important, like how long they spend, how many pages etc social media is important. we intent to engage FB and twitter alot. in New Zealand, not too many people use google+ so we will probbaly just concentrate on the first two hopefully we will try to get people to share our website via social media, apparent that is important should only concentrate on high quality backlinks with a good diverse set of alt tags, but concentrate on branding rather than keywords. Am i correct to say that so far? if that is the principle, what would be the strategy to implement these goals? Links to any articles would also be great please. Love learning. i just want to do this right and hopefully try to future proof the sites against updates as possible. i guess quality content and links will most likely to be safe. Thank you for your help.

Annex city & citations
The large city (A) Annexed small city B (in 2007) where we have a few car dealership locations. The problem is that the post office still recognizes city B, so for the most part our citations are still for city B, but we want to have local optimization for City A AND also have consistent address information across the website (citations). What are your suggestions on going about this the right way so we are optimized for the large city & our citations are consistent?
