Automated SEO Report for Agencies
-
I have a lot of SEO reports to send out, SEO Moz is awesome but it's not designed for this kind of work.
I would like an automated report that does an on page optimization report on the potential client's site, finding errors etc it does not have to include fixes for each. This is just a basic report but it must look nice and be user friendly.
I have looked at Raven and it looks ok however it does not have any decent On Page Optimization reports.
I know I could crawl and then delete the campaign in SEO Moz but that is very time consuming and far from ideal.
If anyone knows of a solution please let me know

Very late respond, but as I see this post is still getting viewed maybe this can help somebody else
DashThis works great for seo, digital marketing and social media automated reporting. You just have to plug-in your sources and you're good to go! Your reports update themselves automatically whenever you need it to. You can also clone your reports from a client to another just by changing the source...everything will update with the right data. It’s integrated with over 30 different sources (Google Analytics, Adwords, Moz, Ahrefs, and a lot more).
You can even schedule automatic email dispatches of your reports so that the system does the work for you.
You can explore some more details about our SEO reporting tool features
We’re an easy-to-use but powerful tool, but our true strength is our customer service. We’ve been known to get up in the middle of the night to help someone on the other side of the world… because they’re already in the middle of their work day and we don’t want them to wait for anything!
There is a multitude of tools like ours (for different needs, budgets, etc), and a quick search can get you at least a dozen. Most offer free trials (ours does), so it’s important to get a feel for the tool to make sure it’s what you want and you feel comfortable with it.
But, again, ideally, it should almost be like a “set-it-and-forget-it” kind of thing!
Disclaimer: I work for DashThis - but I wouldn’t love it any less if I didn’t!

Sorry I'm so late to this discussion.
Your request makes a lot of sense and I can definitely understand the sort of work you are trying to optimize here. You are right that SEOmoz doesn't yet support this scenario particularly well .
I think the best solution we offer right now is to create a campaign for each prospect's site and then create a custom report with the info you wish to include (we added the custom report feature since you asked this question). You can create a custom PDF report with analysis from whichever areas of the site you wish to include (so you could just include on-page, or on-page and rankings, etc.) and add comments in if you need to explain anything. I'd love to know if it helps.
Do you mind sharing specific needs for this sort of report, such as specific content, timeframe for creation, format, etc.? This would certainly help us as we plan future updates.
Thanks!
Adam

Check out Ginzametrics, it automates the kinds of tasks it sounds like you need help with (full disclosure, we have a personal relationship with the founders of Ginza, but it is outstanding SEO software): http://www.ginzametrics.com/

I completely understand. We had the same response to both! Maybe SEOmoz will help us out here and kick in some automation.

That seo engine is far too complex for my clients

Cheers Paul,
I have found Woo Rank, hmm It's a little flakey looking?
Maybe I am just too fussy

We use woorank.com (the pro version) for running automated reports. I do understand your frustration with the various options out there. We too have tried several (including Raven) as well as seoengine but found seomoz to be the overall winner.
Still, we use the woorank for generating the big picture reports but again (to your point) they do not have strong on page results.
If you are up to the technical challenge, try SEOengine. @ http://www.seoengine.com/ I personally trained with one of the founders there and he is very sharp. It is a little more involving than most SEOs want to be for report generation but I recently heard they had a new product that automated this for you.
Good luck!
Paul

I am looking for SEO tips specifically for magazine site's
I have a client who has a website that is based on a magazine. They make their money through advertisement I am primarily an inbound marketer I would be very grateful if anyone out there has any tips for a site that has been around for quite a while ( over 10 years) we are transforming the site from HTML into WordPress then hosting it with a fast managed WordPress host using CDN. I feel the lack of links is an obvious place to start however if there's anything specific to magazine based websites I would be more than grateful to hear your opinions. Thank you all in advance. Sincerely, Thomas von Zickell

SEOMoz reports and 404 errors
My SEOMoz report shows a 404 error, found today for this url: http://globalheavyhaul.com/google.com i do not have this anchor text anywhere on my website. How did Roger figure out that somebody looked for that page? Do I need to worry about 404 errors that are the result of user mistakes, instead of actual bad links?

GWT data v SEO Moz data
I'm sure there's a simple explanation but I can't find it- Looking through the GWT avg position data v SEOMoz ranking data and Market Samurai data there is a large discrepancy. For one term that we hold #1, and have held for a month or two GWTis showing that the avg position is 180 (and down 30). Any reason you know of why the GWT avg position data would be so out of whack with our SERP's and other data? Thanks.

How do I get the Page Authority of individual URLs in my exported (CSV) crawl reports?
I need to prioritize fixes somehow. It seems the best way to do this would be to filter my exported crawl report by the Page Authority of each URL with an error/issue. However, Page Authority doesn't seem to be included in the crawl report's CSV file. Am I missing something?

"Special pricing" on SEO DVDs?
The section for buying your dvd training lists the price for everyone at $119 and the special price for pro members at - $119. Then the text says that the special price will be shown when the item is added to the cart where the special price is - $119. Am I missing something here?

Best way to use OSE Advanced Reports
I can see that Open Site Explorer's Advanced Reports feature is very powerful in terms of sifting through large amounts of link data, but does anyone have any useful tips on how to get the most out it? I want to use my 5 reports a month, but I want to make to maker sure I'm making the most of that allowance.
