Alan, please add your response on to the duplicate thread that has correct line breaks. http://www.seomoz.org/q/how-hard-could-it-be-to-outrank-a-huffington-post-article-with-pa-0-2
I'll come back and delete this thread in the morning (Seattle time) after you've had a chance to copy and paste your response so we can keep everything in just one thread.

You probably need to edit that and put it in a code block so it is readable

Forget page rank on a page - it tells you nothing.
The page is on Huffington Post - It has AOL propping it up and lots of other heavy domains linking to it.
If the page is old and is no longer linked from the front page or immediate sub-pages, it may be possible to beat it. It depends how far down you are and many more things.
It depends what keywords you are going after, so you could use the keyword analysis tool in the Research Tools section. That will give you an idea of how difficult it could be.
You can also use the SEOMoz toolbar and that will tell you how many domains and links are pointing to that page.

Image attatched... How is it possible to rank on Google Norway for spot nr.1 (page in English language) and spot nr.2 (page in Norwegian language) , when all you competitors have higher PA, DA and a lot more backlinks and better on-page optimization according to MOZ? Is there something I´m misunderstanding?

Content: How to top the top article in my niche
Hello, The top article in my niche is http://www.webmd.com/diet/default.htm I want to write a better article on the same topic, but on a low budget. The article would be a combination of tools, top 10 diet reviews, and what I already have here. I'm a pretty good authority on the topics.

Why is my competitor's site ranking #1?
I'm about to work for a local business website that offers cleaning services and products. The keyword they want the most is ruled by a very odd site; My client's competitor's site has been around for 7 years. (Less than the average of it's competitors. Less than my client's) Has 1 backlink. Lower PA MR MT & DA than any other in the SERP. It's a 1 page site made with Flash. They do not have FB or Twitter accounts. So I thought maybe they were ranking so well because of their traffic. But neither my client, me or my coworkers have ever heard of this company. And yet, they are ranking #1. And the only thing I notice that might have helped is that the title of their page is the exact keyword and nothing more. Any ideas?

Reached No. 1 for my Keyword, what next?
Hi, After months of targeting, promoting etc... I have now reached Google.co.uk rank position 1 for my phrase "creative recreation trainers" and I stand at rank 3 on Google.com. I am happy with these results as this is the phrase I targeted and this is the brand I wanted to rank first for. But were do I go from here? I am thinking I change brand and try work some magic on that, but still continuing to add backlinks etc... to the Creative keyword phrase? What would people advise? Also can anyone do an analysis of any sort on that keyword phrase and/or the url http://www.designerboutique-online.com/all-clothing/creative-recreation/ and tell me some good points, bad points, what to do next and so on? Any help would be great. Thanks

Spam affiliate outranking quality site?
I purchased a site hotkeyit.com which was making decent revenue without much work (all via PPC or CPM) but then afterwards started looking at the SERPs and realized I was being outranked for the main term, 'starcraft 2 guide/s' by crappy ClickBank sites like starcraft2guide.com and many others. Researching starcraft2guide.com specifically in SEOMoz/Rush/Majestic shows hotkeyit.com as being quite superior in everyway, not to mention it has quite a social following for a small gaming site, yet Google seems to care not. Can someone please explain what's going on here? It seems like the site was penalized, but there was never any link building done for it aside from word of mouth on forums (this was mentioned beforehand). Thank you everyone.
