Replaceing text prices with graphics
-
Hello all:
You probably noticed Google showing product prices in SERP snippets and this did not do us well because there was a noticable drop off in click throughs to the site with the price displaying in snippet.
So we're replacing them with graphic prices instead.
Does anyone see a problem with that in as far as how Google ranks our pages?
Thanks!

I don't see a problem with that.
Before you change it, I'd compare CTR & bounce rate before and after the change. For example, if your traffic for that keyword went down 20% from 1000 visits to 800, but your bounce rate dropped from 60% to 40% at the same time, then you'd have 480 visitors with 2+ pageviews instead of the 400 that you had before, which suggest higher quality traffic is now visiting the site. Also, compare the goal completions in your Analytics software before and after.
If the bounce rate & goals are similar, then you might as well go back to the old method.

Links not visible in "Google cache text version" but visible in "Fetch as Google" in Webmaster tool
Hi Guys, There seems some issue with the coding due to which Google is not indexing half of our menu bar links. The cached text version of http://www.99acres.com/ is not showing links present in dropdown "All India" , dropdown "Advice" and "Hot Projects" tab in blue bar on top menu whereas these links are visible in "Fetch as Google" in Google Webmaster tool. Any clue to why is there a difference between the links shown in Google webmaster and Google cache text version. Thanks in advance 🙂

Unique content but exactly the same graphical layout - a problem?
Hello, I have a coaching website at www.bobweikel.com I want to make a second coaching website with the same exact wordpress theme, totally identical except a slightly different logo image. Everything the same. The only difference is that all the content will be unique on the new site. Does it matter to Google that the graphics are absolutely identical? I assume it's fine, I just am making sure.

White Text / Black Background & SEO Impact
Does anyone know of any testing / studies with evidence that Google prefers dark text on a light background vs. light text on a dark background? I have a website that currently has light text on a black background, and really like the way it looks, but am concerned that the style may be hurting SEO. Moreover, redesigning something inverse with the same quality would be a large project and fairly costly, so I'd like to make sure the benefit will really be worth the cost before moving forward.
