How come I cannot ask one question a month to the pro's ?
-
I just got a major increase of errors on my website on the last crawl. I haven't touched my web site ( other than adding content ) for the past 3 months. It's like more than 500 errors I got on the last crawl,
How can I call SeoMoz tech support ? I cannot use my 'One question a month to the pro's a option', cannot select the option pretending I have used my question this month where it is not true.
Need help. Thanks

Kane, Pro members have unlimited questions in public Q&A, and one private Q&A question a month. That private question is not indexed and not viewable to anyone other than SEOmoz staff and associates, who are under NDAs.
We have a known issue we're working on right now where occasionally people are not able to ask a question. Stephen is right that emailing the help desk is the best way to fix this and get the question credit.
Marc, if your question is about the increase in errors on your campaign, that sounds like a help desk question anyway and not one where you need to use a private question credit (though I'd still ask for it in your email to help). The crawler did change how it's detecting some things, so it may just be that the change is the reason you are seeing more errors.

Comment removed, incorrect info.

help@seomoz.org is probably the right place for that. They are pretty quick to follow up

A tale of two pages - one ranks great and one doesn't - but they are set up the same way
Hi everyone, First time poster 🙂 I will keep it simple - we have two pages on our website that are set up in the same way (or so we think) but achieve vastly different search engine rankings. We have spent weeks trying to figure out why this should be the case, but to no avail. Perhaps you guys can do a little diagnosis and see what we are missing: for search term: used machine tools www.machinetoolsonline.co.za/buy-used-machine-tools Is working well for us. for search term: new machine tools www.machinetoolsonline.co.za/buy-new-machine-tools is a disaster 😞 In fact, Google ranks our home page which is optimised for other terms, higher. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Duplicate content report - question on best practice
Hello all, New to MOZ Pro and SEO - so lots to get my head round! I’m working through the Duplicate Content section of the Crawl report and am not sure what the best practice is for my situation. Background: We are a reference guide for luxury hotels around the world, but the hotels that are featured on the site vary year on year. When we add a new hotel page, it sets up the url as ourwebsite.com/continent/country/regionORcity/hotel. When the hotels come off, I redirect their URL to the country or region where we have other hotels. Example: http://www.johansens.com/europe/switzerland/zermatt/ The hotel in Zermatt has come off the site, showing 0 results on this landing page. Question: My duplicate content report is showing a number of these regional pages that are displaying the copy “0 places - Region’ because the hotel has come off, but the landing page is still live. Should I redirect the regional page back to the main country page? And then if I add a new hotel to the site from that region in the future, simply remove the redirect? Should I also delete the page? Any tips would be much appreciated!

Duplicate pages coming from links from the login page - what should we do about them?
This is a follow on to an earlier question which was well answered by Dirk Ceuppens regarding abnormal crawl issues. We are seeing that the issues relating to Duplicate Pages are coming from links from the login page which shows information about where the user was redirected from. For example, if the visitor is not logged on and wishes to wish-list an item, they will be redirected to the login page, with the item code and intended action in the url; which can then continue on to the desired page once logged on. The MOZ crawler is seeing these pages as having Duplicated Content whilst they are all the same apart from a piece of information in the URL. Should we be blocking these duplications? Are they a risk to us? What should we be doing? Many thanks, Sarah

Traffic from Google analytics compared to traffic in Moz, quick question.....
When I look at the campaign for my website in MOZ it shows me my 'organic search visits' are radically different than when I look at Google analytics. In Moz I have 10 visits the week of 10/24 but using 'visits' in Google analytics I have 320 visits the same week. In Moz I have 20 visits the week of 11/1 (following the gold total line) but according to Google I have almost 500 visits that week. I just totally redid my site (www.sawwebmarketing.com) and posted a bunch of new content and looking to see what it did to my traffic and according to Google my visits have fallen dramatically but according to Moz my 'organic search visits' have multiplied by 6. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Matthew

Hi guys, I'm working with the API at the moment. I have most of the information I want, but I cannot find the uipl in any of the returned data using several methods. The methods I have tried are: http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/links/www.google.co.uk?Scope=page_to_domain&AccessID=xxx&Expires=xxx&Signature=xxx http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/www.google.co.uk?AccessID=xxx&Expires=xxx&Signature=xxx I can't seem to find how to get the uipl. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

About private questions
Seems my last private question was on March 23 -- so why would I have to wait until June to ask another? I believe I made a reply right at the first of April, which wasn't answered... and I haven't asked another private question yet... not that I have one now, just wonder why the wait that seems longer than a "calendar month"? _Cindy

I am looking for teh traffic on all our keywords. Can this done in one go or do we have to check one by one?
I have all my key phrases in excel (csv) and would like to upload all of them to get the traffic that they generate on Google UK. Is there a way of doing this?

In OSE is there a way to see the total number or links coming from each domain?
Open site explorer will only show up to to 25 links per domain but in order to fully understand the link profile for the site I'm working on, I need to know how many links are coming from each domain - when I download the linking domains report, it doesn't contain this information. Is there a way to access it?
