My site after 3 years has not reached 1500 visitors a day
-
Hi,
I just signed up for Seomoz, but I would like your opinions, please.
I have a gaming blog for around 3 years. I have a lot of original content, reviews, etc. In these 3 years, however, I have never reached more than 1500 unique visitors a day.
Can Seomoz helps me and makes my site goes better?
Thanks!

Hello jobintourism,
Thanks!
I understood. So, I have already signed up for the 1 free month.
I'm just find a little complicated to understand the reports and take the necessary steps. But I thing I'll learn with the time.

I think here at SEOmoz you can mainly learn the how-to, through the blogs, the q&a and the videos.
I even suggest you to take the 1-month free pro subscription , so you can test if SEOmoz tools can help you hitting the top. I tried and I found they are useful.
Good luck!

Hi Andarilho,
Welcome to Q&A!
Good advice from both Andrews above. There are so many ways to learn how to improve your site here at SEOmoz.
A while ago I created a post with a list of resources for a bunch of new people who were starting out here, so I thought it might be helpful to share with you. You can read it here
Look forward to hearing more from you around the community
Hope it helps,
Sha

SEOmoz alone can not help your site, but it can give you an idea of what you may need to do to increase your visitors from an SEO standpoint. If you have 3 years of content, you probably are just lacking on the promotion side of things.

Most certainly SEOmoz can help you. Start by creating a campaign with your site on SEOmoz and tackle the issues. Watch video's, read the blogs and start using SEO tactics to improve your sites rankings.

Which pages on my site should I back link to
The majority of the back links I have been creating link directly to our home page and to the store page. Is this the best approach or should I be trying to spread the links throughout our site to include product categories and subcategories etc?

Changing my site (dramatically)
I am about to do a complete site change. I am going to WordPress. I am ranked #2 on SERPS. Will I lose rank for changing everything on my site? I have 500 pages indexed but I am about to have 30k indexed. It is a real estate site that is switching from a "framed" solution, to a listing indexed solution. If I make good use of my keywords etc (on site optimization) will I be at risk of losing risk just for changing my site?

Article on site and distribution, is it duplicate content?
I was always taught to place all original articles on site, let them get indexed by Google, then put out for distribution through various press release outlets. With the latest penguin update, how does this practice work out concerning duplicate content? In theory, I wrote the article so I should get credit for it on my site first, then push through various distribution outlets to get it out to my targeted audience in my niche field. Typing out loud I would tend to think if the article is on my site first then I would get credit and any others following would be hit by duplicate content if in fact google considered it a dupe violation. Any input on this? Am I on track or am I heading for a train wreck.

How long does it take for Google to see Changes to a site?
Hi, I have a low PR site (PR 1) that I am starting to work on. Ingeneral when you make changes to my site how long would it take Google to recognize and index those changes? The reason I am wondering is because the site I am working on had a lot of duplicate content (around 700 pages), I got rid of it all, but I wasn't sure how long it would take Google to spider all these pages and re-index them since the site is low PR. Thanks, Ken

Seasonal site structure
Bit of a complicated one for anyone who likes a challenge.. We sell a range of products which are very seasonal, so therefore have a seasonal section within the store with the products categorized into their relevant categories. In additon to this i wanted to also create a feature of each season so in effect pull forward on to a new tab the relevant season ie: Valentine so that customers didn't have to hunt for the products by going via seasonal shop etc The problem is that my site urls display last-category/product-title so in effect as the seasons change these urls will be deleted. They do remain elsewhere in our catalogue.. Does this make sense?

On-page optimisation for CMS based sites
With so many sites being based on a CMS, and with so many hundreds of different CMS out there, as SEO consultants how do you recommend dealing with on-page optimisation for a client where you discover their site is built with a CMS you have not previously used (or even heard of!)
