Seo affordable company
-
Hi, my website is www.theprinterdepo.com
We want to hire a seo company that does everything together and can help me to increase visitors. I am a truly believer that SEO is the best way to improve sales, we did seo in the past but my boss only liked to do it for 6 months, so we went from 8,000 visits to 25,000 visits in 6 months, but after stopping the contract, visits went down again.
Sales also increased and decreased in the same way during that time.
I need a SEO Company which I can afford for a long term projec and that can help me beat my competitors in my niche. (printers, printer accesories, printer parts, printer toners, etc), 70% of our items are refurbished, but we also sell new ones pretty well. So ranking for the keyword refurbished printers only is not enough.
We have about 12,000 visits per month and our goal is to go to 25,000 in 3 months, 50,000 in 6 months, and 100,000 in one year. I think this is pretty doable, do you?
I wonder if someone in the forum can recommend me one good seo company that can give us a full integrated seo solution/quote, and that we can afford.
I would be welcome to hire maybe seos that are starting their own company if there is proven success or something, sometimes big company names charge a lot.

Personally, I think your traffic expectations are a bit unrealistic. You're looking for a 800% increase in traffic in one years time. I'm not saying it's impossible, but as the other commenters noted you are better off trying to bring in more qualified traffic that converts.
The companies that sell you on the 100k/month number are the same ones who will likely put you in danger of penalty.

There are so many cowboys out there in the SEO world so be very careful. Algorithms change and along with that, techniques need to change... There are LOTS of SEO companies who use very old methods and are actually quite dangerous instead of useful.
Take a look at SEOmoz' list of recommended companies here.
Generally, you get what you pay for!

Thats a good point, I still need to increase visits anyway, and make those visits buy.
Can any one here, share a good review of http://www.conversion-rate-experts.com/?

Hi,
I think you might be able to find an affordable SEO company, but I would suggest changing your goal. Visits are a nice metric to look at, but leads and sales keep you in business.
You could get 100,000 visitors tomorrow, but if none of them buy a printer what's the point? At the end of the day there is no difference between 100 visits and 2 sales and 15 visits and 2 sales. Some of those 100,000 may remember your brand, but there is no guarantee they come back.
A good SEO company will talk to you about that, and help you focus on specific keywords that convert well, and will also help optimize the site and content to generate more sales or whatever your specific goal is.
Good luck finding a company.
Vinnie

Question about SEO and domains
Hello, Over time we have purchased many domain names that relate to our business. Let us say we sell chairs of type A, chairs of type B, Tables of Type C etc. We also have a main web site (main domain) which has been functioning for many years and is ranked well but not great. Since we have domain chairtypeA.com and chairtypeB.com I was thinking of putting them to good use as follows. STRATEGY A a) Create the domain as a parallel domain but is mainly informational - it talks about chair type A, its history, what to look for etc. It has the same IP address as main domain b) Have all the links on the page be directly linked to the MAIN site- so if you are on page for ChairtypeA and want to see it in a set you just click a link and it takes you to the main site. c) The look and feel of the ChairtypeA site is exactly the same as the main site - in fact except for the Heading, title and content the whole framework is from the main site. My hope is that if people are looking for chairtypeA, we would rank and attract customers. Plus it would use up some of the domain names we have purchased. THE OTHER ALTERNATIVE (Strategy B) is a) Create a domain for chairtypeA parallel to main domain (same IP address) b) redirect it to subfolder in main domain c) refer to the pages also as maindomain/chairtypeA (here is where it is no longer purely parallel) I have 3 objectives a) Use my purchased domain names b) Focus on certain products (liek ChairtypeA) c) Overall increase visibility and ranking Please give me any feedback which indicates whether Strategy A or Strategy B is more effective, or if any has negative consequences. Or you could suggest Strategy C - a completely new approach. Thanks Sam

SEO for e-commerce, linking, brand mentions, insights diagnostics
Hi, I run the seo for www.bilthamber.com It is an e-commerce site selling car care products, and we also manufacture our own products. I was wondering how the seo for an e-commerce site might compare to the seo for a blog or information based site, or other types of site. And also how the seo for a particular product page on my site might compare to a information based page on my site. Are the tactics the same? Should you try and rank for similar terms, the same generic terms, or complelty unique terms for the best seo? Or should every page try and rank for different terms, to ensure that the engines dont rank 2 or more different pages for the same search term? And how many keywords or search terms should I try and rank a particular product page for? Or an information page, or blog page? Is there a minimum or maximum that is recommomended? Does the more terms you try and rank for on a page take the weight out of each of them? So having 4 really good search terms might be better than having 10 ok generic ones? How do I find out what are my best, most highly converting, most profitable keywords overtime for Google? I can find some information like this, but it is showing the stats for Bing UK, not Google, even though Google UK is my main engine in Moz. My domain authority has decreased by 3 this week, this is the first time it has gone down since I started with Moz a few months back, can anyone explain why? And how this will affect the rankings ect, and how I can get it back up higher agian? And for linking and brand mentions, what are the goals of this feature? Should I find my mentions and ask them to talk about us more and link to us properly? I'm not sure if this is right. Should I be asking other websites to make links to our pages, or should it be organic? And for the insights section, I am recieveing tons of issues a lot to do with duplicate content, will having the rel=carnocial tag fix these issues? I know thats a lot for 1 question, but its been building up in my head! Thanks in advance! Max

Where to learn SEO practices, especially local
I am looking to learn SEO as I know how important it is. I have basic understandings, but I don't know where to start, or what to add. my website is viralextent.com and apparently I'm not so good at ranking. I want to rank locally for "web design". I understand that I couldn't touch the national market right now as I can't even seem to grasp the local. I know everyone's time is valuable so I'm not looking for a free assessment. Where should I go to learn what I need to do next and kind of guide me through the process of becoming #1 for local? I am obviously an SEOmoz PRO member, where should I start here, or should I be looking somewhere else? Any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Onsite SEO tools
i have been working on an SEO site and I wanted to add a website checker tool to my home page to help keep users on my site for longer and start interacting. Are there any available scripts for a website tester that I can place onto my home page? This way when a user lands on my website they can check their "score" and then they can read more about how we came up with this number or what they can do to help it etc..

SEO Moz ranking reports
I am confused. The SEO Moz ranking reports state that my site show show up in a specific position in SERP for a specific keyword yet when I google the keyword the ranking is different. Are these ranking reports merely indicative or are they supposed to be accurate?

GWT data v SEO Moz data
I'm sure there's a simple explanation but I can't find it - Looking through the GWT avg position data v SEOMoz ranking data and Market Samurai data there is a large discrepancy. For one term that we hold #1, and have held for a month or two GWTis showing that the avg position is 180 (and down 30). Any reason you know of why the GWT avg position data would be so out of whack with our SERP's and other data? Thanks.
