How to use MyBlogGuest.com
-
Hello,
We have a person who has a degree in the content area of our niche, and it's a wide niche area.
How do we contact people on MyBlogGuest.com and ask them what they would like our person to write about?
Do I private message them or get their contact off their website? What do I say to not be ignored?
Thanks.

If you are able to find out the companies that picked articles, that would be ideal.
We don't track articles that are being posted through the forum (people just send articles manually there), but we do track articles that get posted through the Articles Gallery.
To find the list of most active publishers (those who published most articles), go Search -> Site Search -> and sort by "Articles Posted"

Great Ann, Thank You!

Like I said, you may want to use our built-in messaging options because we have enhanced it with free features like follow-up and non-response reminders.

Hey Bob, please feel free to PM me for details. I'll just lay out the basics:
How do we contact people on MyBlogGuest.com and ask them what they would like our person to write about?
You can use the free forum to post your request. There's a "Looking for blog" forum where you can start a new thread listing your topics. There is also "Looking for guest" forum where you can go from thread to thread applying to those opps that seem relevant to you.
Do I private message them or get their contact off their website? What do I say to not be ignored?
I'd suggest our system (PMs) because you can set up a follow-up reminder there. This way you'll be able to keep an eye on those who never got back.
Please watch all videos our users made for others to use the system. They are all user-generated and thus reflect the real user experience.

If you are able to find out the companies that picked articles, that would be ideal. But to be honest, MGB is a bit hard to manage and filter.

This is a good question you should contact Ann Smarty from my guest blog, she also happens to be an SEOmoz user...

Ok. I guess my question is whether it would be quicker and get better results if we found companies on myblogguest.com that had previously selected articles and that had good metrics and contacted them directly and see what they needed before we write the article.
Or is it your experience that articles are selected fast if they are good?
Thanks.

You can generally pre-write an article and post an excerpt to the site. Individuals will come by and go to your niche/category and if they think it is a good article/excerpt they will contact you for the information. Its quite simple when you do it once or twice.

How come www.ifundinternational.com beat us despite that most links seems VERY shady?
How can ifundinternational.com with TONS of spammy links rank 70 keywords in TOP20 in the competitive hard money lending industry? They seem to go AGAINS ALL WHITE HAT SEO and all rules by Panda, Penguing and Hummingbird. Just frustrating that they get away with it. What to do about it?

Is there a difference between .com backlinks and .co.uk?
(We are a UK based business) I am currently looking for sites for guest posting opportunities and I am not sure whether I should prioritize .co.uk sites or go for .com sites. Does it matter? Is more weight given to .co.uk sites if you are based in the UK?

Would it make sense to add a no-follow to About, Sign In, Join Us, Privacy, Terms of Use etc?
Hi everyone, In order to increase link juice for relevant interlinks, wouldn't it make sense to attribute no-follow to the following interlinks: About Us, Sign In, Join Us, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Security, Contact Us, Home (assuming brand name / logo also links to homepage), and any page where there are 2 or more links directing to the same page. Thank you, Kristian

Using an SEO Agency to build one-way links for you via link exchange
There are a number of SEO agencies which offer link building as part of their SEO offerings. I believe they build one-way links to the client site, by offering another link in exchange to the liking site. So, if the client site is "C", and link is being requested from site "A", the site "A" owner is offered a link from site "B" in return. Is this a good and/or recommended practice?
