SeoMoz says I have no link, when I know I have. What's going wrong

I know I have backlinks to the site, they are not showing up on SeoMoz. I've only recently started the account. Can anyone help?

As mentioned you may need to wait a little while for the index to update.

In the blog post that Highland mentions it says that the latest index consists mostly of crawls done in May, so any linkbuilding done after that won't be showing yet.

Also, if your site is brand new, it won't show any links. Usually, by the time SEOmoz comes out with a new index update, it already at least a month old.

SEOMoz doesn't crawl the whole web.
SEOMoz find new links every 4-6 weeks on its recurrent spidering paths around the web.
It now shows a link for me that has dropped out - with present technology vs practicalities business-wise it can't physically go real-time yet

Remember that SEOMOZ simply crawls the web, parses that crawl, and then updates its index. If these were recent links, they might not show up yet. Also, according to Rand's blog, the index has shrunk for some technical reasons. They are working on fixing them.

Are links from charities really better than 'normal' links.
Hi Guys. Just wondering about this idea that links from Charities are particularly good. I've heard people say that links from .org sites are particularly strong. But anyone can get a .org domain, it's just that charities tend to use them more often. Right? I just don't get the logic. Can anyone give more detail about this? Is it a myth? Is there quality info on this topic I can check out? We're working with several charities at the moment, and they all seem happy to blog and link to us...so I just wanted to know a little more. Someone's been spamming my client...
Hi all Bit of a strange one....doing a backlink analysis for my client's website (a handmade oak furniture supplier) and noticed there are about 13,000 spam backlinks to the domain from dozens of websites for keywords related to replica watches. Odd! Obviously neither us nor them have made these backlinks. Would a disavow be enough action to take in this case? I would rather the client not see a penalty in WMT for spam backlinks for this. Not sure how, or why, we have acquired this links. I can only think someone has been trying to do a spot of negative seo against the site Thanks Carl

Spammy Links in MOZ but when I go to the external link I can't find a link to us
I was going to try to contact webmasters to see if they would remove some of our spammy links. I see alot of them in MOZ but when you go to the site our anchor text is not there. Is this good? How often does MOZ refresh external links. Eric Ward's urlwire.com - worth a $500 investment?
I'm after a turbo boost (direct and indirect) to my site's SERPs. How beneficial is URLwire.com? Anyone here used it? Worth $495? Given that Matt Cutts has said links from PR sites don't pass link pop, would URLwire fall into this category? (I'm aware the idea is also to generate backlinks from other referring sites). Thanks

How would one get on the Huff Po's "Around the Web" list?
On the huffington post they often have lists of links related to the article, near the bottom just before the comments. This section, when present, is called "Around the Web". See this as an example: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/linda-bacon-phd-ma-ma/health-at-every-size_b_1314339.html Do the article authors choose these links, or are they auto-generated somehow? How to know whether linking to a site is valuable or not
Hi Guys, I've been checking for some people to write articles for my site. They are writing articles on their own sites. But before that, how can i know whether that site is valuable or whether it can pass link juice for my site. Please can someone explain about on how to know whether a site is important or not.
