Importing Open Site Explorer Into Raven Tools
-
I have just started to use SEOMOZ and Raven Tools at the same time. What is the easiest way to import Open Site Explorer link data (.csv extension) into Raven Tools so that I can manage my link building campaigns? If somebody knows an easy way to do that I will appreciate. Thanks in advance!

I wish someone had told me that before!!! Will save me bundles. Thanks Jon. Cant believe I missed that function.

There are a couple ways to go about this. The first is to do what Scott Griffiths said. Export the data and then edit it to fit our link import format. The second approach is to just use our Research Central tool, which pulls in the same backlink data from the Mozscape API. That tool will allow you to directly add links to the Link Manager, individually or in bulk. Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about. Hope that helps!

All we did was to create a spreadsheet template where we re-mapped the appropriate columns. We then load in the export data from OSE, transform it into the new template, and then exprt this as a CSV ready for import into Raven Link Manager.
Not elegant or automatic, but it works.

I'd love to know this too. Great idea

Backlinks from missing sites
While combing though spammy backlinks, I'm finding a lot of supposedly "active" links that lead to 404 errors, pages that contain no html, domains for sale, and sites that all have a uniform design which I can't tell if they're web host default pages, or pages using a spammy third-party link aggregator (or both).

Why Can't My Ecommerce Site Rank?
I've already done the on-site SEO things, URL's are all SEO-friendly, etc AND I've already done a few rounds of link building to some of the interior pages on my site, and I still can't get my site to rank. What other strategies can I employ to get my site to rank? I don't believe my keywords are that competitive (fleece blankets, baby blankets, etc.)

Why does Open Site Explorer list SEOMOZ forum links so high ?
When I was checking my back links in Open Sight Explorer I was surprised to see that because I have asked three questions recently here on the forum about my business website www.endeavourcottage.co.uk and they are now listed near the position 3 to 5 Of course I was not putting my business website link on their with the motivation of gaining some SEO benefits but when you get these no follow links do they have any usefulness in that direction? I read that say no follow links have no link juice so is any beneficial aspects? I It wouldn't be the ideal situation to encourage that kind of activity, but if they have no value at all why does Open Site Explorer list them? seo.JPG

What's some of the easiest way I could gain strength with national keywords so that people will pursue phone coaching with me, terms like nlp coach wealth and success coach wealth coach personal coach life coach I know that these are varying greatly in competitiveness. Thanks!
