I've been looking and asking for a good guide to keyword research myself here on SEOmoz and other forums. After reading many posts I was able to narrow down to 2 must have references/tools for keyword research.
1. The Art of SEO book: http://www.amazon.com/The-Art-SEO-Eric-Enge/dp/1449304214/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1339725028&sr=8-11
2. Market Samurai video tutorials: http://www.noblesamurai.com/dojo/marketsamurai/
Under keyword research there are quite a few videos that show you how to do keyword research...
Also I strongly recommend their tool as well as it can save you hours if not days if you were trying to get all that information manually...
Hope this helps!

Any keyword tools to do this?
Hi, I'm looking for a tool which can pull keyword idea data from Google Keyword Planner at landing page level for multiple URLs at once. Right now with Google Keyword Planner you can only manually do one URL at once. Which will give you 800 keywords. I'm looking to pull landing page keyword ideas for about 10 URLs at once, so in total i should get about 8,000 keywords. Any tools which can automate this with Google Keyword Planner? Cheers.

Now with Google localizing search increasingly personalizing queriesquery results, is it still necessary to add geo-specific modifiers to keywords? [reworded for clarity]

Best Keyword Research Tool
Can anyone please recommend the best keyword research tools available, we specialise in the travel industry and struggle to find new keywords as the more niche ones always show no traffic searches in the google keyword tool so it is really difficult to make a judgement. We know from google analytics that some niche keywords really are useless and while they are no. 1 they generate no traffic. I hope you can help Thanks! Andy

Keyword cannibalization in ecommerce sites
I'm assuming this is a common problem in ecommerce sites. Lets say we have a "sleeping bags" which has all types of sleeping bags on it. Then build a brand page "The North Face" with a subpage for The North Face sleeping bags. Is it possible to target the sleeping bags page for "sleeping bags" while targeting the branded sleeping bag page for "The North Face sleeping bag"? how would you suggest doing this while avoiding keyword cannibalization?

Top Ranking sites for specific keywords
Is there a way to put in a list of targeted keywords and see what the top 5 sites on Google are? There are several competitor tools in SEOmoz but I can't find anything that would allow you to do that. I have a list of 40 or so keywords that I would like to check what sites are in the top 3 positions on Google for each of the keywords. Thanks in advance

Keyword Traffic Estimator Tools
Hello, I'm relatively new to SEO and looking to find a good tool for estimating the search traffic volume of different keywords in order to focus efforts on higher yielding terms. Right now I'm using Google's traffic estimator but it doesn't seem to have much data for long-tail keywords. Is anything else out there better or more accurate? Thank you!
