Open site explorer not working this morning, anyone else have that problem?
i am new, and i signed up because of open site explorer, but... no results! just a ooops! anybody has that problem today?
-
We just posted an explanation about the rankings issue, including keyword difficulty, at http://www.seomoz.org/blog/where-are-my-rankings.
-
Anyone know when they'll have keyword rankings update?
-
OSE is working now. Thanks Moz.
-
Just tested it and it's working for me. The Rank Tracker has not been working for me for about three days; I tried the Keyword Analysis tool today and it did not work.
-
It's not just the Open site explorer the Q&A forum is not working right either I have been logged out 20 times this morning, and my posts are not being posted.
-
Thanks! I've looked at both, and ahrefs.com seems very nice!
-
Nope...not working. It sucks.
-
We're aware of the problem and working on it. We're updating Twitter as we have information, and help desk has been online for the last couple of hours letting people know that it's us and not you. So sorry about this everyone. We'll let you know when we have an ETA about things.
We have been having keyword problems since Friday, and this OSE problem cropped up in the middle of the night Seattle time last night/this morning.

This site is hardly working for me today keeps logging me out and will barely let me post.

http://www.majesticseo.com/I hope these help. Can't wait to have OSE back up and running
-
Sort of glad to see this post. I thought the problem was on my end. I tried the Keyword tool a few days ago and it did not do anything. Now OSE is not working. Hopefully one of the Seomoz staff can give us an update soon so we know what to expect.

Keyword rankings have not worked for me for several days.
-
She's down. Can anyone recommend a similar free tool?
-
Same here. It has been down all day for me. :-S
-
I am also having the same problem. that coupled with keyword analysis not working is a nightmare.

Mozscape API Problem With Credentials
Yello everyone 🙂 Yesterday I generated Access ID and Secret Key to try the API, but it didn't work. It's said that it might need 5 minutes, so I gave it something like 8 hours but it still didn't work afterwards. I used the PHP sample and I checked it with the Sample Expires value and it produces the same Signature parameter as in the Sample Valid API Signature, so the PHP code sample and the Sample Valid API Signature are in sync. In case you wonder - yes I changed the PHP sample by adding the valid strings for $accessID and $secretKey - I'm a long time programmer and I know what I'm doing with it. I tried also the example URL from Sample Valid API Signature couple of times, refreshing each time to get new Expire parameter, but it's not working too. Both the PHP sample and the Sample Valid API Signature are giving me this: **{ "status" : "401", "error_message" : "Your authentication failed. Check your authentication details and try again. For more information on signed authentication, see: http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/w/page/29574176/SignedAuthentication" }** I am new here and if there is another place to look for support please just point it out and excuse me for wasting your time - I just couldn't see it and I really tried. Open Site Explorer & SEOMoz Bar for Chrome Showing Different Numbers
When I run a report on OSE checking for linking root domains, the number is always different from the number of root domain links that the SEOMoz bar shows in Chrome. For example on OSE a site shows 88 root domain links, but in the SEOMoz bar, it shows 110 root domain links. I've tested this issue with several sites and there is always a discrepancy in the number of root domain links. Does anyone know which one is actually correct and why this might be happening? Thanks.

BOTW links not recognized by Open Site Explorer
Hi there, I was wondering if I buy a submission to the Best of the Web directory (waiting for the new directory list promised by the seomoz team 🙂 ) but when I get to the category on BOTW website that will fit for my website, I took some links already there and put them on open site explorer to see their value, I had the surprise they are not even recognized... So I am still wondering if it is worth or not... voilà , if anybody knows if this directory still has value...

HTTPS site in Open Site Explorer
I'm looking at a site for which the https URL currently ranks in Google. Using a header checker on the http URL I see that it is being 302 redirected to the https version (I have no control or input on this site). In OSE there's no option to specify an https URL as the http part is pre-populated and uneditable. My question is: does OSE treat the https and http version as the same URL? I'm guessing so as the http URL has a lot of domain authority despite not being the "default" URL.

Any tools for scraping blogroll URLs from sites?
This question is entirely in the whitehat realm... Let's say you've encountered a great blog - with a strong blogroll of 40 sites. The 40-site blogroll is interesting to you for any number of reasons, from link building targets to simply subscribing in your feedreader. Right now, it's tedious to extract the URLs from the site. There are some "save all links" tools, but they are also messy. Are there any good tools that will a) allow you to grab the blogroll (only) of any site into a list of URLs (yeah, ok, it might not be perfect since some sites call it "sites I like" etc.) b) same, but export as OPML so you can subscribe. Thanks! Scott

Does anyone know what the %5C at the end of a URL is?
I've just had a look at the crawl diagnostics and my site comes up with duplicate page content and duplicate titles. I noticed that the url all has %5C at the end which I've never seen before. Does anybody know what that means?
