How long is a full crawl?
-
It's been now over 3 days that the dashboard for one of our campaigns shows "Next Crawl in Progress!".
I am not complaining about the length... but I have to agree that SEOMoz is quite addictive, and it's quite frustrating to see that everyday
Thanks

Thanks for taking care of this!

Hey Julien,
While it can take a few days for a crawl to finish up, it does look like your site has been crawling for about 4 days, which is a little longer than usual. I'm really sorry about that! I'm going to create a ticket in our help desk under your email for the engineers to look into. You should get a confirmation email once I've submitted the ticket with a link to the ticket for your reference.

It all depends on the amount of pages on the website. I would suspect that you will see results any day now.
Yes, SEOmoz is addictive!

Why is Link Count smaller than Internal Links in Crawl Test report?
We recently ran the crawl test report and for most of our pages we are getting 1150 internal links but 40-50 as the link count. Why is there such a big disparity?

Crawl Diagnostics - Historical Summary
As we've been fixing errors on our website, the crawl diagnostic graphs have been showing great results (top left to bottom right for errors). The problem is the graphs themselves aren't very pretty. I can't use them in my internal reports (all internal reports are standardised colours/formats). Is there anyway of exporting the top level summary with historic data so the graphs can be recreated in company colours? I don't want the detailed CSV breakdown of what errors occurred, but rather than on X date there were Y errors, the next month Z errors and so forth. The data must already be in the SEOMoz system in order to create the graphs themselves - I was hoping this can be made available to us if it isn't already? Does anyone know if there is already a way of doing this? I've tried to 'inspect element' and find the underlying data in the source code but to no avail, and can't see any exports that would do this. Thanks in advance Dean

Why is my crawl STILL in progress?
I'm a bit new here, but we've had a few crawls done already. They are always finished by Wednesday night. Our website is not large (by any means), but the crawl still says it's in progress now 3 days later. What's the deal here?!?

Campaign Crawl Report
Hello, Just a quicky, is there anyway I can do a crawl report for something in a campaign so I can compare the changes? I know you can do a separate crawl test, but it wont show the differences, and the next crawl date isnt untill the 28th.

How can I clean up my crawl report from duplicate records?
I am viewing my Crawl Diagnostics Report. My report is filled with data which really shouldn't be there. For example I have a page: http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/ This is a main forum page. It contains a list of many threads. The list can be sorted on many values. The page is canonicalized, and has been since it was created. My crawl report shows this page listed 15 times. http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=asc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=desc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?order=post_date and so forth. Each of those pages uses the same canonicalization reference shared above. I have three questions: Why is this data appearing in my crawl report? These pages are properly canonicalized. If these pages are supposed to appear in the report for some reason, how can I remove them? My desire is to focus on any pages which may have an issue which needs to be addressed. This site has about 50 forum pages and when you add an extra 15 pages per forum, it becomes a lot harder to locate actionable data. To make matters worse, these forum indexes often have many pages. So if I have a "Corvette" forum there that is 10 pages long, then there will be 150 extra pages just for that particular forum in my crawl report. Is there anything I am missing? To the best of my knowledge everything is set up according to the best SEO practices. If there is any other opinions, I would like to hear them.
