Hi,

I want to add a explainer video on my header. This video introduce our online store, products and services.

Should it be host on YouTube or on my online store server.

I use BigCommerce shopping cart and I don't have to pay for bandwitch.

In a SEO point of view, what is the best option?

I have found a paid-for video delivery to be best for my needs.

I think your best option is use youtube because has a Domain Authority really high. And point from those videos to your website.

YouTube videos have been very effective for us on our site. The only problem is they have taken part of a fair amount of our content so to google our pages may seem to have minimal content. Transcribing each video and including that on the page would take away from the look of the page and clutter it. 410 /demandware.store/ pages

I have a client that just migrated to salesforce commerce cloud. They have a large amount of 410 pages showing up in site crawls. They are all of the /on/demandware.store/ variety. Is there any reason to redirect thousands of these pages? Any value? Or should they be allowed to drop off?

Review rich snippet with reviews hosted on customer feedback company's website?

Is it possible to enable rich snippets for reviews that are not visible on the page in question? A restaurant's Wordpress website mentions the average rating but the actual customer feedback and reviews are displayed on a page on the website of the feedback company. Would it be enough to implement a small widget (displays star rating, number of reviews and links to the review page) and add microdata/J-SON to convince search engines that the reviews are legit? Best place for tutorial videos on e-commerce site

Just wondering where I should put my tutorial videos on my e-commerce site. I have two options 1. On the category pages - this makes sense as the videos are related to the products within the category 2. Create a help section of the website that would host all the help videos. How to add an affiliate store

Hi all Just wondering what other Mozewrs' would do about this..... I want to add a revenue stream to a blog of mine and I have decided that an affiliate store is the way to go. I can create a store with merchant datafeeds and pull in products related to my site, and all being well make some pennies from it. Obviously all the datafeeds are published on many other sites and so it will be very duplicate content. Would blocking Googlebot from the store be enough to ensure that the site doesn't receive a penalty for duplicate content? I would be keen on getting the product category pages indexed but not too worried about the actual products themselves. I would like to make some revenue from the site but not at the risk of killing the blog. Thanks

Does hosting server location affect my local google page rank

Hi All, This is my first (of many I would say) questions. My clients site is in Ireland but the hosting service is in Canada. So when i use the MozBar it states that the IP is in Canada. Will this affect my page ranking in Dublin, Ireland? The company is a plumbing service so we would only want local Dublin customers. Thanks so much and I hope someone can help me out. cheers, Aidan

Yahoo small business host has two web sites and confuses the spiders

Both another consultant and my first seomoz test stated that I have two websites and that confuses the spiders. . One is www.mystore.com ( example) and the other is mystore.com. Yahoo states that's how they role and I can not delete one. I can do a 301 redirect and redirect one site to the other but they do not have a recommendaation as to which one to redicrect. Which one should I redirrect?
