My domain authority is 1, and I am not seeing any links to my site.
-
I know that there are links to my site, but nothing shows up.
My website is www.mullinsgeoffrey.com. I have tried with and without the www.
I am using wordpress for this site, but competitors are as well, and there authority seems fine.
is there a hidden setting somewhere that is screwing things up?

Hi Geoff,
It looks like in the time since you posted this question and today, your site authority has grown.
As the previous two respondents noted, what you were seeing was the effects of your domain being so new. Not only does it take Google some time to pick up on things, but most tools/data providers that show us metrics around inbound links and authority update their indexes/data sets every month or so (perhaps quicker, but not by much since it's so expensive to crawl the web). Important to keep that in mind when you're looking at your own site(s) or those of competitors.
I don't see any links pointing to your site in Open Site Explorer or ahrefs - it's unlikely both tools are "wrong" here. If you know of specific pages/sites that are linking to you, I'd recommend double checking that those pages/sites are actually being indexed by search engines. You can be seeing a link behind a login wall or similar barrier to search crawlers that, for all appearances, is SEO friendly, but because the page isn't being indexed it never counts towards your authority.
I'm marking this question as answered since it seems that the issue you were concerned with has been corrected.
Best,

Geoff, you probably need to be a little more patient. You only registered your domain on 20 June this year and there's nothing yet on the Wayback Machine. I would focus your energies more on creating great content on your site, social media outreach, etc, rather than worrying about your domain authority just yet.

Geoff - have you tried another tool which uses a different index. It could be that OSE does not have your links indexed. Try Google webmaster tools, Bing webmaster tools, or another tool which tracks inbound lnks.

How do I see all links to my site in Web Explore?
It appears that the Web Explore looks for exact matches to a page. I'd like to see all matches to any page. Will regular expressions work?

Does linking to relevant high authority websites effect your MozTrust or Rank?
Basically what the title says. I am having a hard time understanding why a compeitor with less linking domains and none of any real quality, they're all membership sites or partnerships, nothing to relevant to the industry. While we have links and articles on us from multiple magazines in our industry. As well as to relevant directories with high domain ranks. The only thing I noticed is they're linking to their clients website, which are all high authority websites. So do external links count towards your MozTrust or Rank?

Domains and sub domains - newbie
Hi Recently set up my SEOM MOZ account so any help would be great! On the competitive domain analysis page the sub domain metrics appear as good (if not better) then the domain. The Moz rank and trust are better on the sub domain. I know the website copy is appearing on both non-www and also www (which I assume is being referred to as the subdomain) on the competitor domain analysis page). Should I now 301 the WWW site to the non-www.... which will then concentrate the SEO and SEOMoz then will only have the root domain metrics appearing? Many thanks for your help in advance!

Missing Juicy link finder
Hello, In the past, I was using two tools mainly: Keyword difficulty and the Juicy link finder. Buit Juicy Link Finder does not exist anymore and I miss it 😞 Any of you are missing it also? Do any of you who were using that tool have found a new tool to do the same good job than what Juicy Link Finder was doing? Thanks Nancy

Link from Dr. Oz web site not being seen, what are we doing wrong?
Newbie so this may be SEO 101... Quick back story: My wife Lauri is a Dream Expert who has been on over 5,000 radio shows, TV shows like Good Morning America, the Today show, the View, in major magazines and newspapers, the list goes on and on, I'm not bragging actually the opposite. Lauri barely exists online and to top it off we don't seem to be getting any "link juice" from some big sites that have linked to us. Here is just one example of many: Our site: theDreamZone.com Here is a page on Dr Oz site that links to us, anchor text at top right "Click here": When you use On site Explorer this link isn't there, what are we doing wrong? Our plan is to build a new site (LauriTheDreamExpert.com) and get these links and many others pointing to us correctly so she can get the exposure she's earned. Lauri was also on the Dr Oz TV show : Watch it if you like. Thanks for any wisdom, Mike

Why is Followed Linking Root Domains higher than External Followed Links?
Surely there must be at least one external link for each linking root domain? Some results for smaller sites give a higher number of domains linking in than incoming links - e.g. www.forbesandsawyer.co.uk Under Subdomain metrics: External Followed Links - 1 Followed Linking Root Domains - 2 Surely 2 root domains would mean AT LEAST 2 external followed links? Thanks, Andrew
