Off-page SEO and on-page SEO improvements

I would like to know what off-page SEO and on-page SEO improvements can be made to one of our client websites http://www.nd-center.com
Best regards,

Great point. Not something that could give the client confidence.

_You are offering - “Custom Made Fake Diplomas, Fake College Degrees and Transcripts”? In that case, I fear most of the SEO professionals would not help you in one way or the other. This is what I believe is not a legit business model. _

That is one loaded question!
For the on-page, I would recommend testing out SEOmoz's on-page optimization tool: http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/on-page-keyword-optimization/new
It seems you have a fair amount of relevancy assuming your main keywords are "fake diplomas" and "fake degrees". Nothing on your site seems to be a glaring issue that would 'cause you to NOT rank, besides that "links" page. I would take that down ASAP. Also, adding a blog section will help with reoccuring fresh content. Something Google loves.
All of your onsite effort can be next to meaningless if you were hit by Panda and/or Penguin. From looking at your backlinks, it appears as though you may be experiencing some issues with relevancy, low-quality links and/or heavy keyword anchor text.
Have you been using blog networks like Build My Rank or Distribute Your Articles? Have you been spinning content? Have you been buying Fiverr ads that are claiming they'll get you 10 .edu links for 5 bucks?
If so, you're going to want to reconsider your link building strategy and focus on higher quality links from more legitimate websites.
Being a guest posting company, I would venture to guess that link building is going to be tough for this industry, even if it is a 100% novelty item. Just focus on more legitimate link building, vary your anchor text like crazy, try to have the link JUST be the URL and watch your Webmaster Tools. If you have gotten an unnatural links warning, you might just want to check out the new link disavow tool.
I hope this helps, you have quite the road ahead of you but it's nothing unattainable.

What to do about this subdomain for SEO?
This is a bit of an unusual structure and I'm having difficulty explaining the question so pardon my being a 'noob', haha. The website I'm working on has some content under Forums that is hosted on another domain. The main website is https://yournorthside.org.au/ and if you select under the main Nav > Forums > Lived Experience it will take you to https://yournorthside.saneforums.org/t5/Lived-Experience-Forum/ct-p/lived-experience-forum. So it's as if it's a subdomain. (notice even the appearance of the main menu changes, weird) Apparently, saneforums.org has a requirement for that content to be on that subdomain. So therefore it's not part of my sitemap and now crawled or indexed. My question is is this structure okay? What are the implications for SEO? Should I be looking to implement some type of no follow link or something? Or is it actually beneficial in terms of all their content gives us 'link juice'? Can you link me to any resources / articles that give further insight?

What should I do about not found pages?
I took over a site that had been hacked. A bunch of pages were created that said domain.com/cms/viagra. The pages are gone but they still show in webmaster tools as not being found, which is what I want. However, should I do anything besides leaving them as 404?

SEO value of InDesign pages?
Hi there, my company is exploring creating an online magazine built with Adobe's InDesign toolset. If we proceeded with this, could we make these pages "as spiderable" as normal html/css webpages? Or are we limited to them being less spiderable, or not at all spiderable?

I need help compiling solid documentation and data (if possible) that having tons of orphaned pages is bad for SEO - Can you help?
I spent an hour this afternoon trying to convince my CEO that having thousands of orphaned pages is bad for SEO. His argument was "If they aren't indexed, then I don't see how it can be a problem." Despite my best efforts to convince him that thousands of them ARE indexed, he simply said "Unless you can prove it's bad and prove what benefit the site would get out of cleaning them up, I don't see it as a priority." So, I am turning to all you brilliant folks here in Q & A and asking for help...and some words of encouragement would be nice today too 🙂 Dana

How to verify a page-by-page level 301 redirect was done correctly?
Hello, I told some tech guys to do a page-by-page relevant 301 redirect (as talked about in Matt Cutts video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1lVPrYoBkA) when a company wanted to move to a new domain when their site was getting redesigned. I found out they did a 302 redirect on accident and had to fix that, so now I don't trust they did the page-by-page relevant redirect. I have a feeling they just redirected all of the pages on the old domain to the homepage of the new domain. How could I confirm this suspicion? I run the old domain through screaming frog and it only shows 1 URL - the homepage. Does that mean they took all of the pages on the old domain offline? Thanks!

Duplicate page content
Hello, My site is being checked for errors by the PRO dashboard thing you get here and some odd duplicate content errors have appeared. Every page has a duplicate because you can see the page and the page/~username so... www.short-hairstyles.com is the same as www.short-hairstyles.com/~wwwshor I don't know if this is a problem or how the crawler found this (i'm sure I have never linked to it). But I'd like to know how to prevent it in case it is a problem if anyone knows please? Ian

SEO On-Page Planning - Wire Framing
This is open to discussion. I'm interested in getting help/opinions from others on how they plan their next SEO Project. What methods do you use for laying out On-Page Keyword targeting? Do you use any specific wire framing tools for laying out a large website? With larger websites, this stage is very important so I'd find it very useful to get help in this area. If you know of any useful threads covering this area, share them here.
