Why do I have 7 URLs from the same domain ranking on the 1st page?
-
I have a client that has individual pages for authorized dealers of their product (say "Car Dealers"). When you search for "brand name + location", Google returns 7 "dealership" pages from the parent company's domain as the first 7 results, but there is one that gets pushed off to the 5th page of the SERPs. The formatting of content, geo-targeting, and meta data on the page is identical on every single one. None of them have external links and there is not one extremely distinguishable thing to assess why the one page doesn't get placed on that first SERP.
Why is the one getting pushed so far down?
I know this may be a bit confusing, but any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

What are the cities?
Costa Mesa, CA is the only city we're dealing with at the moment
How many links are going TO each of these pages (external and internal)?
None of them have any external links pointing to them. The ones ranking on the first page have this many internal links pointing to them (1st to Last):
1, 5, 3, 4, 4, 5, 2
The page that's being left out has 2 internal links pointing to it.
What is the anchor text coming into these pages?
All have their company name as anchor text. The first one ranking happens to have "Costa Mesa" in their anchor text.
Are they all listed in your sitemap.xml?
All are listed in xml sitemap except for 1 and that particular page is ranking on the 1st page.
When you do a "brand name + location" search, are you changing your browser's location settings?
Yes, but the SERPs don't change when trying multiple locations. It's always the same listings.

Key webpage fluctuating between page 2 and page 6 of Google SERP
Hi, We have found that one of our key webpages has been fluctuating between page 2 and page 6 of Google SERP for around 2 weeks. Some days it will be on page 6 in the morning and then page 2 in the afternoon. We have recently updated some copy on the page and wondered if this could be the cause. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how long was it before the page settled? https://www.mrisoftware.com/uk/products/property-management-software/ Thanks.

W3C Validation: How Important is This to Ranking
Hi, I'm currently working with a developer who is trying to tell me that validation errors and warnings are of little to no importance in a website's SERP. In the past, whenever I've had a site that was experiencing problems ranking for a keyword terms, this was one of the first places we'd look. Is this still a relatively important component in getting a site to rank?

What are tips for ranking on Google Maps?
I have another thread going where everyone is saying to keep both the Places profile as well as the Google Plus Local profile I have for my company. I have another person telling me that it has a negative effect to have both accounts at the same time so I'm assuming thats why the listing never comes up on places unless you zoom all the way into the map to the address of the storefront. With that being said, can anyone provide some good tips for ranking first page on google maps? Google +1 link on Domain or Page?
Since its release, I've seen Google +1 being used across an entire domain but only reference the root href in the code snippet. At the same time, you see other sites use +1 more naturally with the button being specific to the page you're on. What's your take on this? To clarfiy, do you add: or .. on each page.
