Are Vampires Haging Out On My Website

Buon pomeriggio from Wetherby multiple community flower bed winner
On a site I'm working on web analytics is reporting traffic spiked in the early hours of the morning by a huge margin (this is so wrong). Yes its a multi national site but looking at the global distribution of visitors there really is no accounting for this.
Here is a link to the data:

"What could be causing traffic being incorectly logged in the early hours of the morning"?Grazie tanto,

could be a bot of some sort, I think I had this problem before, I signed up for a free site speed test program call yatoo or something, and they give me loads of false positives for visits, so I just filtered it out of analytics.

I have also heard of some Russian bots doing stuff like this

Why might my websites crawl rate....explode?
Hi Mozzers, I have a website with approx 110,000 pages. According to search console, Google will usually crawl, on average, anywhere between 500 - 1500 pages per day. However, lately the crawl rate seems to have increased rather drastically: 9/5/16 - 923

Analytics options for website builder
I'm working on a website builder with a few friends and we would like to track traffic statistics for each site built on our platform. We're looking for a solution to dynamically generate analytics for each site published on our platform. I've used Google Analytics for a number of years, but I'm not sure if it's capable of doing something like what we're looking for. Any chance someone could throw me a bone? Thank you in advance!

How do I add subdomain tracking to an existing Google analytics account that was set up to track website only (without the subdomain option)
I know you can track subdomains by just selecting the proper code when you set up the analytics and then create filters for the data in analytics. But how do you add a subdomain for existing analytics website. Is there a way to go back and change to the option to include subdomains and then I assume just replace the tracking code with the new code that Google delivers for this?

Google Analytics tracking code for completely new website
Hello! I use Google Analytics to monitor our company's websites. In the coming weeks we will roll out a brand new website for one of our brands to replace its current site. The domain name will remain the same. My question is, should I use the same tracking code that's been used on the existing site for the new site, or is there a benefit to creating a new tracking code? Thanks in advance!

Website optimizer troubles
First, we would love to use the new Google Experiements intergrated into analytics but its not rolled out to us. We tried to get it expideted roll out to us but no luck... So we are stuck with a soon to be discontinued Website optimzer. I can't get past the first step however, I get the follow error: "The original page and the conversion page URLs must share the same domain.", see attached. The convertoin page is on a subdomain. There is quite a bit of help online about this. You need to tweak the script code. There is nothing about how to get past this page though. It simply says its a on a different domain (which its not) and won't let me go any further... Thanks! Website%20Optimizer.jpg
