Which is the best and quick way to remove URL(s) from Google,Bing search engines?
-
"Remove URL", "Set Expiry in meta tag", "no index no follow " or some thing else.
-
dont forget to submit a new sitemap to google within GWT AFTER you finish your removals and other changes as suggested. that should also force google to act a bit faster than it would otherwise do in recognizing the changes.

Thanks for your response.
We want to remove around 100+ URLs daily.I think its bit tough to do by remove URL.if we did then, Should It impact on Domain authority?
-
Another way we found helpful is:
-
adding the meta robots=noindex tag to these pages
-
submitting those URLs + sitemap.xml in Google Webmaster Tools
Hope this helps

Two very good answers IMO by Moosa and Philipp. I am not sure why you are removing, but remember there will be cached pages on the web for some indefinite period. If it was only a short time, etc. maybe very few or hard to find, but typically there is something...somewhere.

Actually, in my experience the quickest way is to 301 redirect it to another URL. This is even quicker than disabling the URL and let it return a 404 (which would be my second choice).
Also, keep in mind that only using GWT does not have any impact on Bing! -
The quickest way to remove the URL from the search index is by using Google’s webmaster tool!
Go to GWT and request a link removal and it will be gone for 90 days and then set the no index tag this way your URL will be out of the search index for the life to come!
Hope this helps!

G is for Google
So if you haven't heard already - Larry Page released a statement regarding the newly founded company: Alphabet. Crazy to think that the name hadn't even been used before for one but most importantly throughout his write up - there doesn't seem to be much clarity on what it is going to accomplish. "&" in search for site:domain.com
Hi, a few days ago we talked to a seo agency. They told us something about the "site:" search, that we hadn't heard before.

As they told us, a search for "site:domain.com/&" would give you the number of relevant pages that Google indexed for your domain. We tested this search with some domains. Lots of the results showed up to 25% less indexed pages, than the search for site:domain.com/ Has anyone heard of this before, or is it just a sales gimmick?0 -
How often do you submit to local search/citation sites?
I recently received a Network Solutions spam/offer email regarding their internet marketing packages. One of the "benefits" they cited was that they submit your information to local search/citation sites once a month, to keep it up-to-date. I don't know about you guys, but my clients' information isn't changing on a frequent basis. I remember when it used to be a tactic to submit regularly to the same citation sites, but that seems like overkill now. Does anyone still do this, or is NS just trying to make their product sound good? Do we need to update citation sites frequently, or is it enough to update when there are actual changes to make?

Local Search Not Responding To Optimisation
Hi guys / gals. This is quite rare for me because I normally can put together a good strategy based on the best articles / content etc I have read. However this time I am in a bit of a situation where I dont seem to be able to get results for my Google Local Listings or Google Plus Places page. The listing is good, has a description, images, url, address etc. The weakness was a lack of citations, so I got the White Spark Tool and went to work. I have probably built about 20 citations - all pretty good sites, nothing dodgy. The issue is my listing has gone the wrong way i.e. lost positions. What am I doing wrong here. Is 20 citations just not enough? Is there another ranking factor I am neglecting? I have digested this : http://www.davidmihm.com/local-search-ranking-factors.shtml Please advise peeps 🙂

Storing & Analyzing Site Search Phrases
We are adding a JQuery smart search to our site that provides product suggestions as our visitors type. I can create a simple script to store precisely what the visitors are searching for and how they type it. However... I am not sure how to best analyze the data for use. Simply storing the data does not tell me how many times a particular phrase was used. I believe a smart suggestion search tool will skew my results, as it will suggest what I list my product names as in my database rather than what they call it. I don't want to reinvent the wheel. I found a great JQuery script for the suggestion search, but is there anything out there for storing and analyzing the user search input?
