Reported data in Multi-channel funnels in GA wrong?
-
I'd love to start using the Multi-channel funnels feature in Google Analytics but I have zero confidence in the reported data as it seems to bear no relationship to the standard ecomm reports.
To be specific, in August 2013, MCF is reporting the following for email campaigns:
Assisted conversions = 20
Assisted conversion value = £1,405.91
Last Click or Direct Conversions = 14
Last Click or Direct Conversion Value = £369.57Now switching to the traffic sources report, GA reports for the email campaigns revenue was £1,226,41 over the same period across 21 transactions. My interpretation of this is that the email campaigns were the "last-click" and delivered £1,226,41 and 21 "conversions" (as I have no goals configured in this GA view, conversions = transactions I believe)
That leaves the MCF last-click report short by £856.84 (£1,226,41 - £369.57)
I can see no reason why this should be so unless I'm not interpreting the data correctly!
Anybody have any suggestions/ideas as to what's going on?
Any help appreciated.

Make sure under the MCF "Explorer" tab, you have "Conversions" selected and not "Assisting Interactions Analysis"

Disabling Hubspot AMP plugin - impact on GA
Hello, all!
Reporting & Analytics | | SimpleSearch
What impact have you seen if you've used the Hubspot AMP plugin and then disabled it?
We saw a big jump in sessions, which is weird because GA was tracking AMP pages. I'm trying to wrap my head around why this is happening but my brain isn't working 🙂0 -
How to see organic traffic trend in GA?
Hi Guys, I want to identify whether organic landing pages in Google Analytics month on month (over 6 month period) have increased or decreased in traffic and whether the traffic trend is positive or negative. See attachment of the data. In total there are 500 pages, so it's just not feasible to review each organic chart for each organic landing page to view the trend. I’m sure there is some way to view this in Google Analytics, but just not sure how. Any suggestions? Cheers. 0Bnv85G.jpg

Is it possible to import data from an old Google Analytics profile to a new Google Analytics profile?
We have encountered a situation where a client's old SEO firm is refusing to grant us Admin access to our client's existing GA account. For security purposes (so the other SEO firm doesn't delete the existing GA profile) we have started a new Google Analytics profile. Again we do have access to the data in the old account. Is it possible to migrate this old data over (if we just have user access)? Thanks for the help

No Data in Custom Report set to 'Hit' Scope
Hi Guys, Been having a problem recently with a custom report I have set up... I want to find out number of sessions, bounce rate, session duration etc for different dimensions on my site - store area, store name, product type etc but I cannot seem to get the data to filter through to the report I have set up when 'Session' scope is selected. If I set it to 'hit' then I do get the data but this will only record the first instance of a dimension being triggered (from what I can gather) rather than all dimensions that might be triggered during a complete session. Has anyone experienced similar problems? Thanks, Dan

Is Google turning Off Webmaster Tools Search data
My Webmaster Tools account has stopped showing data past 9/23, which is a full week old. Typically it is just a few days behind schedule. Is Google cutting this off?

Switching from synchronous to asynchronous code in GA
Morning all, I'm looking to integrate GA with Webmasters tools but to do so I need to have the new asynchronous GA code implemented into my website. Now, I'm happy to just copy and paste the new code into my site footer, but will that any effect on the data that I've already tracked? Is there any reason why this is really not a good idea? Thanks for your help,

Analytics goals & funnels - troubleshooting 100% proceed to next step
As you can see from the screenshots, 100% of the visitors in the checkout proceed from step 2 (Delivery Date Selected) to step 3 (Enter Delivery Details) - this sample is a month, but this applies going all the way back. Can you tell me if some RegEx is missing from the goal set up? Thanks fEXtD
