Reported data in Multi-channel funnels in GA wrong?
-
I'd love to start using the Multi-channel funnels feature in Google Analytics but I have zero confidence in the reported data as it seems to bear no relationship to the standard ecomm reports.
To be specific, in August 2013, MCF is reporting the following for email campaigns:
Assisted conversions = 20
Assisted conversion value = £1,405.91
Last Click or Direct Conversions = 14
Last Click or Direct Conversion Value = £369.57Now switching to the traffic sources report, GA reports for the email campaigns revenue was £1,226,41 over the same period across 21 transactions. My interpretation of this is that the email campaigns were the "last-click" and delivered £1,226,41 and 21 "conversions" (as I have no goals configured in this GA view, conversions = transactions I believe)
That leaves the MCF last-click report short by £856.84 (£1,226,41 - £369.57)
I can see no reason why this should be so unless I'm not interpreting the data correctly!
Anybody have any suggestions/ideas as to what's going on?
Any help appreciated.

Make sure under the MCF "Explorer" tab, you have "Conversions" selected and not "Assisting Interactions Analysis"

Big discrepancy between GA an GSC
Hey! I would really appreciate if someone could help me on this 🙂 I have a website with separate mobile and desktop versions, on GSC I see a huge drop in the number of clicks on the mobile website and an increase in the number of clicks on the desktop website, however this isn't reflected at all in GA. GA shows that mobile traffic hasn't increased for any version of the website and the webpages losing traffic according to GSC are flat/growing on GA (even if I look at traffic coming from organic only). Has anyone experienced something similar or has any possible explanation? Thanks!

Google Analytics reporting traffic for 404 pages
Hi guys, Unique issue with google analytics reporting for one of our sites. GA is reporting sessions for 404 pages (landing pages, organic traffic) e.g. for this page: http://www.milkandlove.com.au/breastfeeding-dresses/index.php the page is currently a 404 page but GA (see screenshot) is reporting organic traffic (to the landing page). Does anyone know any reasons why this is happening? Cheers. http://www.milkandlove.com.au/breastfeeding-dresses/index.php GK0zDzj.jpg

Creating Goals in GA
Hi I don't know if the below can be done, and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Ideally I want to capture the event of registering for an account. Ultimately I want to know which products, pages etc drive customer registrations but which do not lead to a purchase (Registered Not Bought). Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks Andy

How do you handle a "too many inbound links" notice on your crawl diagnostics report?
How do you handle a "too many inbound links" notice on your crawl diagnostics report? The url's identified come from our blog....is it reading all the blog post URL's and giving me a notice? Is this ok to leave all the links? Or would anyone recommend no follow tags on all of our blog posts?

Tracking Multiple Top Level Domains in GA
Hi, I am setting up Google Analytics for www.example.co.uk and www.example.ie Is this as simple as just adding GA tracking code 'track Multiple top-level domains'? With this method how can I distinguish between each site's incoming traffic? Do filters needed to be created? Thanks in advance 🙂
