How can get inffo on all in one SEO plugin
-
I have the plugin All In One SEO. I do not know how to use it. How can I get instructions telling me how to use it. I have gone to the website but there does not seem to be a way to contact anyone.

I recommend checking out the Yoast Wordpress SEO plugin instead. You can visit this guide: http://yoast.com/articles/wordpress-seo/ to optimize the plugin which will really help your site out a lot.

Hi Richard,
You received some great responses. Did any of them help? If so, please mark them as "good answers." Thanks!

Sorry, forgot to add... On each Post or Page, at the bottom of the editing page, you will see the All In One SEO section where you can enter in your desired Title Tag, Meta Description for real-time previews as how it would show in Google. It is a really nice feature they added to their latest version. You can also add in your Meta Keywords here too.
Again, hope this was helpful and I wish you all the success in using the plugin! - Patrick

Richard,
We use AIOSEO and love it! It is simple to use and their latest version is really great. We follow a pretty standard AIOSEO setup for smaller business websites. Check out these steps and hope this is a good answer for your needs:
Settings Page Recommendations
- General Settings box > Check the box for Canonical URLs
- General Settings box >Disable the "Use Original Title"
- Home Page Settings box > Enter in your custom Home page Title Tag (up to 70 characters max with spaces)
- Home Page Settings box >Enter in your custom Home page Meta Description (up to 160 characters max with spaces)
- Home Page Settings box >Enter in your custom Home page Meta Keywords (make them relevant to the content on your Home page)
- Keywords Settings box >leave all defaults
- Title Settings box > This is very important to remove duplicate content > from the "Page Title Format" field to the "Description Format" fields remove the "| %blog_title%" text only at the end. So "%page_title% | %blog_title%" should only be "%page_title%" and so on
- Custom Post Types Settings box > leave all defaults
- Display Settings box > leave all defaults
- Webmaster Verification box > This is new and great as you can submit the meta data given by the Webmasters Tool account into the fields for instant verification
- Google Settings box > Enter in your main brand G+ URL
- Google Settings box > Enter in your Google Analytics ID tracking code
- Noindex Settings box > Check the boxes for "Categories", "Archives" and "Tags"
- Advanced Settings box > leave all defaults

There is support on the actual plugin page itself at WordPress.org. Look for the "Support" tab.
However, I would suggest that you use the Yoast WordPress SEO Plugin. It is incredibly easy to use and will help your website in many ways. You can set up your meta data for your home page, all pages, and all posts. It will also help you optimize every post and page with a handy dandy page analysis. You'll be able to find a lot of documentation on it too.
If you are already using the All in One SEO plugin there is an easy way to export your data to Yoast. It is a plugin called SEO Data Transporter.
Everyone has their preferences for an SEO WP plugin but in my opinion, and many others, Yoast is the best.

Best X-Cart SEO Solutions / Modules?
We recently acquired an e-commerce client that uses X-Cart. We have no previous experience with this platform and it's hard to find any good / helpful info regarding SEO functionality online. Right now I need to figure out how to handle mass redirects of 404 errors, friendlier URLs, resolving duplicate content, XML sitemap generation, robots.txt generation. The functionality built into the platform so far is terrible and all of the modules are pricey. Any recommendations, general or specific, would be insanely helpful if anybody out there has experience with this particular platform. Thanks!

SEO Ads On Third Party Job Sites?
Hello all, I seriously doubt I will get a reply to this as I'm guessing no one has experience with it. if you do though then I would appreciate any information either via comment or PM. Basically, I need to know how I can improve the rankings of job posts within the third party sites. An example would be totaljobs.com, how can I improve the rankings of advertisements that are posted there or is it simply ranked by date and location?. When I had my eBay business, I did a lot of research on eBay SEO and discovered some important factors for ranking within the eBay website. I'm basically wanting to do the same here on job board websites for job ads posted to them. Their algorithms won't be as advanced as Google etc so I'm guessing if they do they will be open for higher keyword density levels and that kind of thing.. I've googled it quite a bit and can't find any information at all on it. Thanks.

How do I get google to crawl white papers that displays a form for human visitors?
How do I get Google to crawl white papers that displays a form for human visitors? I have been looking into this and understand that I need to set the form up as a GET form which has been done. Google said they want you to "avoid" forms that require personal information but to what extent do they want you to do that? The form is used as a lead generator so we need to collect information such as name, company name, email, ect.The information we require currently is: Name, Company name, Email, Phone Number and Number of employees. Once a user puts in their information they have access to the rest of the content and they don't need to re-enter the information in so I assume once Google gets past this feature they can gain access to the rest of the content. I understand that I need to have a form that doesn't ask for personal information which is the dilemma. So what should we do to work around this? Is there a solution that will allow me to obtain some personal information while still allowing Google to crawl the pages? Thoughts and any feedback is much appreciated, TJ

Doing SEO when using location is not an option
When doing SEO for a company that does not have a specific location (they are an online-only retailer), and doesn't want their manufacturing location given, what is some advice on other great SEO tactics that will help counter the disadvantages of not using anything location-related (Google Places, directory submissions, etc). Obviously backlinking and on-page optimization, but in regards to the fact that Google is becoming more and more encouraging of sites that are location-optimized and listed in many records such as Places, Yelp, directories, etc., does anyone have any advice?
