My website has disapeared from all google queries except the ones that contains it´s own website name
-
Hi,
My website URL is: www.nixiweb.com
Before June of 2013 my website was always shown at first or second place at google when searching for "hosting gratis".
After June of 2013 my website has disappeared from all searches, it only appears when I search for the site name, eg: "nixiweb" or “www.nixiweb.com”
At webmaster tools, the search queries table only shows queries related to my website name (eg: "nixiweb" or “xixiweb”), and none related to any other keyword.
Can anybody help me understanding which is the problem with my site?
Thanks

Here's a link I couldn't find earlier - it's outdated now but might still be of some help: http://www.mytrafficdropped.com/

Finding the reason
Are you able to identify an exact date that traffic dropped in your Google Analytics account? Is it only organic traffic that had a big fall-off? If you can identify a date, does it match any algorithm updates here moz.com/google-algorithm-change ?
What to do
If your website was demoted due to an update of Google's Panda algorithm, you'll need to make sure your content is unique and high quality, amongst other things. There's a guide here: http://www.ventureharbour.com/panda-recovery-a-guide-to-recovering-googles-panda-update/
If it was demoted due to certain links (possible Penguin-related), there's a guide to spotting low quality links here (Step 3): http://moz.com/blog/ultimate-guide-to-google-penalty-removal
You could also take a look at Google's Quality Guidelines (there is some duplication with the above links) to see if your website complies with them: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35769?hl=en%233 ?

zobyhost.com is a partner site, I will ask webmaster to take out that link.
Thanks for your great help !

Hi Alex,
Yes, that is possible, but all the content at my webpage is completelly mine (I say that with hand on heart.), I've written it from scratch.
Most of the pages listed at you examples are forums users talking about my service and there are some other few websites that have partially copied some of my webpage text.
Is there any way to be sure if that is the reason?
Also, what should I do in that case?
Thanks for your help

I wonder if a Google Panda penalty has removed your pages. A lot of your content is showing as duplicates across other websites: example 1, example 2
Looking at your links, Penguin could have had an impact too. You have lots of "low-quality" links from pages like this: http://www.zobyhost.com/crear-nueva-cuenta.php - some of which are also responsible for your duplicated content.
However, there was no Penguin update reported in June 2013 - the closest is May 22nd: http://moz.com/google-algorithm-change

The strange thing is that my website usually appears on the first page, but now it does not appear in the first 50 pages
-
I have no manual actions at webmaster tools, also no notices ...
-
Does Webmaster Tools have any notices from Google about your site, such as a penalty?
-
Hi,
That probably means your competitors out ranked you in those terms. You still being able to find your site and seeing traffic from Google in WMT means that your site is still indexed in Google.
You can try using Moz's Rank Tracker tool to help determine your ranking on the terms "hosting gratis" and etc.
Continue building good quality links and provide good content and you should be back on first page in no time.

Website ranking stuck on 2nd page of google. How to bring it in top 10 position??
Hi I am working on a site indianhomeappliances.in that for search terms such as 'best washing machine in india' appears near the top of the 2nd page of Googl for url https://indianhomeappliances.in/best-washing-machine-in-india/ When looking at what is listed on the 1st page for 'best washing machine in india' I would appreciate any advice/guidance on what else could be done to give the site a final push to get on the 1st page of search results. I have made more than 60 backlinks along with sites from competitor analysis via moz for this page Looking at the sites that are on the 1st page I cant understand why many of them are ranking higher than me? Any insight and plan of attack would be most appreciated from any search experts on the forum. My website is 2.5 months old. Many Thanks

If Fetch As Google can render website, it should be appear on SERP ?
Hello everyone and thank you in advance for helping me. I have a Reactjs application which has been made by Create-React-App that is zero configuration. Also I connect it using Axios to the API using Codeigniter(PHP). Before using Reactjs, this website was at the top Google's SERPs for specific keywords. After Using Reactjs and some changes in URLs with no redirection in htaccess or something else, I lost my search engine visibility! I guess it should be caused by Google penalties! I tried using "react-snap", "react-snapshot" and so forth for prerendering but there are so many problem with them. Also I tried using Prerender.io and unfortunately my host provider didn't help me to config the shared host! Finally I found a great article that my website eventually display in Rendering box of Fetch As Google. But still in Fetching box, the dynamic content didn't display. But I can see my entire website in both "This is how Googlebot saw the page" and "This is how a visitor to your website would have seen the page" for all pages without any problem. If Fetch As Google can render the entire of the website, is it possible to index my pages after a while and it would be appear on Google's SERP? mokaab_serp.png

Website not ranking
Firstly, apologies for the long winded question. I'm 'newish' to SEO We have a website built on Magento , www.excelclothing.com We have been online for 5 years and had reasonable success. Having used a few SEO companies in the past we found ourselves under a 'partial manual penalty' early last year. By July we were out of penalty. We have been gradually working our way through getting rid of 'spammy' links. Currently the website ranks for a handful of non competitive keywords looking at the domain on SEM RUSH. This has dropped drastically over the last 2 years. Our organic traffic over the last 2-3 years has seen no 'falling off a cliff' and has maintained a similar pattern. I've been told so many lies by SEO companies trying to get into my wallet I'm not sure who to believe. We have started to add content onto all our Category pages to make more unique although most of our Meta Descriptions are a 'boiler plate' template. I'm wondering.... Am I still suffering from Penquin ? Am I trapped by Panda and if so how can I know that? Do I need more links removed? How can I start to rank for more keywords I have a competitor online with the same DA, PA and virtually same number of links but they rank for 3500 keywords in the top 20. Would welcome any feedback. Many Thanks.

How important is the optional <priority>tag in an XML sitemap of your website? Can this help search engines understand the hierarchy of a website?</priority>
Can the <priority>tag be used to tell search engines the hierarchy of a site or should it be used to let search engines know which priority to we want pages to be indexed in?</priority>

Is it worth redirecting an old domain name which was hacked to my new website?
I had a website which got hacked and malware added to it. I have since closed that website down but I still have the domain name. That domain name prior to the malware was incredibly well ranking for its niche and had a good range of high quality links to it and a domain age of 6 years. I'm now creating a new website which is similar to the old one (the same but with a different platform and layout). Is it a good or bad idea to redirect the old domain name to the new website?

Novice Question - Can Browsers realistically distinguish words within concatenated strings e.g. text55fun or should one use text-55-fun? What about foreign languages especially more obscure ones like Finnish which Google Translate often miss-translates?
I am attempting to understand what is realistically possible within Google, Yahoo and Bing as they search websites for KeyWords. Technically my understanding is that they should be able to distinguish common words within concatenated strings, although there can be confusion between word boundaries when ambiguity is involved. So in the simple example of text55fun, do search engines actually distinguish text, 55 and fun separately? There are practical processing, databased and algorithm limitations that might turn a technically possible solution into a unrealistic one at a commercial scale. What about more ambiguous strings like stringsstrummingstrongly would that be parsed as string s strummings trongly or strings strummings trongly or strings strumming strongly? Does one need to use dashes or underscores to make it unambiguous to the search engine? My guess is that the engine would recognize the dash or space and better understand the word boundaries yet ignore the dash or underscore from an overall concatenated string perspective. Thanks in advance to whoever can provide any insight to an old coder who is new to this field.
