Block IP from analytics
-
How can I block an ip from analytics? basically so I do not see test orders from a certain ip in the sales performance section?
Thanks for any help.

Hi
Did you get this resolved, if not did you remember to put in the forward slash '' after the first three sections of the IP address. It turns out thats the reason it wasn't working for me.
Thanks
Andy

Hi there, were you able to sort this out? If so, please mark one or more as a "good answer." If not, please let me know where you are getting stuck in the process so I can help. Thanks! (Christy)

I would set up a new view so that you still have the original view collecting all data.
Apart from that, I agree with advice above.

You will need to find out if you need to block a single or range of IP addresses, then here is the guide-
-
go to admin, then look at filters, its is pretty easy from there

Was Google Analytics and Adsense Down Today?
For the last 4 hours of so we were registering zero users and Adsense reporting has not changed. We checked the site, and there were no problems. It seems for some reason there was no reporting. Just now it came back up and we are showing live traffic. Trying to figure out if this was a problem specific to us or if it is on Google's end. Thanks,

Drop in Bounce Rate in Google Analytics
Hi guys, I have recently seen a large drop in bounce rate (from GA) which seems unnatural for one of our clients website. Since the start of 2018, the bounce rate was consistently between 40-60%, and then saw a random spike, and now for the past two weeks, the bounce rate is below 10%. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas if this is a problem with GA, or the site itself. Site: https://www.zoomocarcredit.com/ Any comments/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Jack. WMT data vs. Analytics
Hi Each month I export my data from WMT and go through analytics. I also export our non brand queries from analytics and not WMT - I haven't had an issue before, but this month the impression data is quite different. In the hundreds of thousands different for keywords, everything seems to have taken a big jump and it seems strange. However, not everything is different, I've spot checked some and its; consistent in both, I'm not sure what's going on? One example would be: <colgroup><col width="281"> <col width="72"></colgroup>

How does Google Maps/G+ traffic show up in Analytics?
Hi Moz Community, I've been trying to figure out how traffic from Google Maps (and G+) shows up in Google Analytics and am struggling to find a good answer online. If someone finds a business through Google Maps and then clicks on the website in the Maps listing, does that show up as a referral from Google Maps? Our site shows virtually zero traffic from Google Maps even though we have a number of listing. Two related questions: if someone clicks through to a G+ page from a Maps result and then visits our website from the G+ page, does that show up in Analytics as a referral from G+? Is traffic from Google Maps or G+ ALSO counted as organic traffic? (Would it be possible to accidentally double-count a visit as both organic and a referral from Maps/G+? Thanks everybody!

How to FILTER in Google Analytics an ad campaign from linkedin?
Hi mozzers We are setting up an a linkedin ad campaign for our agency and want to track its traffic and conversions. The linkedin ad will carry UTMs for each link. For tracking this campaign accurately I thought about creating a new GA View with a specific filter. So my question is about the filtering, should i use the INCLUDE, REFERRAL with pattern LINKEDIN.COM (see image)? if not what would be the best way to track this campaign? My other concern is that we are also running other a job ad on linkedin and I feel these hits will be tracked as well. Is there a way to separate those 2 campaigns? Thanks guys! MzE5hqE.png
