Just to pile on with the challenges, those links you have on that page? Yeah they're a real problem. Go to URIValet.com and enter in https://www.protoexpress.com/about/ (the link at the code level for your "Corporate Datasheet") and see how it redirects to https://www.protoexpress.com/content/overview.jsp - links within your own site should never redirect - that delays search engine crawler efficiency and harms overall SEO as a result.
But then also note other links on the page also redirect. Which means more inefficiency.
Let's go further:
All your navigation already exists in the main navigation bar. What's the purpose of this page? It's not helpful. It's excess linking and does not properly communicate trust.
A quick speed test on URIValet.com for https://www.protoexpress.com/pcb-assembly comes back at thirty-six seconds to process using the 1.5mbps data (a fair representation of what Google sees for users accessing your site via DSL). A separate test using WebPageTest.org (Dulles VA, Chrome DSL emulator) came back at over 20 seconds.
Google expects between one and three seconds as an ideal target. Even if my test represents only intermittent speed problems, that's dramatic and harmful to user experience and overall SEO from a quality and trust perspective.
At the code level, you have multiple INCORRECT redirects (some 302 redirects which means "temporarily moved") when, as I stated initially, internal linking should always be direct, with no redirects.
Also at the code level, that page has multiple images referenced that result in a 404 not-found error.
I'd suggest based on this information, you have much more critical and valuable tasks to be working on rather than attempting to get a glorified links page to rank.

This page needs content, it needs a purpose. I get the theme and goal you are attempting to reach here, it is like a display all categories page. If you want this to rank for something it needs a keyword targeted title tag, a keyword targeted meta description, and keyword targeted content. If someone happens to land on this page from the engine, chances are they are going to bounce right off because it appears really spammy. It doesn't look like anything other than a mini directory, like ask.com or something like that. You have to pick a key term, and target it with the SEO basics, meta data, content, images and some authoritative links.

What would you expect this page to be found for in a search? It's just an html sitemap. There's no valid highly important phrases such a page should deserve to rank for regardless of what you do.
If you can come up with a phrase or phrases you think properly identify this page such as "Sierra Circuits web site navigation map" or something along those lines, sure, you can come up with various ways to do SEO to get it to rank for that. But to what end?
At the end of the day, every page on the site is either important for people doing a search at search engines, or its not. And if its not, attempting to artificially force it to rank for something else is not a sustainable SEO goal.

Understanding why our new page doesn't rank. Internal link structure to blame? + understand canonical pages more.
Hi guys. Sorry it's an essay...BUT, i think a lot of you will find this an interesting question. This question is in 2 (related) parts, and I imagine it would be an 'advanced' SEO question. Hoping you guys can help bring some real insight 🙂 Always amazed at the quality for this forum/ community. **Context... ** We had a duplicate content issue caused by this page and it's product permutations, so we placed canonical tags on all the product permutations to solve it. Worked a treat. However, we now have more **product ranges. **We now sell Diaries, Notebooks & Music books, which are clearly different from one another. So...we've placed canonical tags on all the product permutations leading back to the 'parent' theme. In other words, all the diary permutations 'lead back' to the diary page. All the notebooks permutations 'lead back' to the main notebook page. So on and so forth. Make sense so far? Context end..... Issue. Amazingly our Diary page outranks our notebook pagefor the search term 'Design your own Notebook'. The notebook page is well optimised for this search term, and the diary page avoids the word 'notebook' altogether (so no keyword cannibalisation going on). Possible reason? Our Diary page has a vast amount of internal links to it throughout our site. The notebook page has only a few. Could this be the issue? If so, what reading/ blogs/ content/ tools would you recommend to help understand and solve this problem? i.e) Better understanding internal link structure for SEO. 2nd part of the question (in the context of internal linking for SEO). When there are internal links to a page with a conical tag does that 'count' towards the 'parent page', or simply towards that specific page? I really hope that makes sense. If it's clear as mud just shout. Isaac. EDIT: All pages in question have been indexed since we added these changes to the site.

Too Many On-Page Links
Ok so I am very new to MOZ, and we have just set up our PRO account and campaign. When we got our crawl results we had 4 pages with "too many on-page links". All of these pages correspond with our blog, which is a wordpress hosted blog that is integrated into our site. Our site is www.moxicopy.com and the blog is www.moxicopy.com/blog I am confused on how we have over 100 on page links on these pages, as we have very few links on our blog.

Home page keyword effecting internal page ranking
Hello, My client has a second keyword for the home page that is competitive. The home page is not being ranked for this keyword. Instead, an internal category page is ranking. This internal category page is more relevant than the home page - it shows the categories for the actual products that this term refers to. But everyone around us in Google's page results has far more backlinks than the internal page, and we're all heavily optimized for this term. My question is, is it safe to pull the second term off of the home page or is this internal page strong because it is somehow being strengthened by the home page optimization?

Why home page ranks higher than keyword-optimized page
We have a page that is optimized for the keyword "job scheduling". A search on the keyword "job scheduling" results in this page not ranking at all, while our home page (uc4.com) ranks third. Could you provide some ideas/suggestions as to why this would be the case and how to make our job scheduling page rank higher? Thanks, claudia
