Time spent downloading a page increased
-
Starting on December 16 time spent downloading a page increased sharply.

We tried to find the problem, but without success. We did not changed the server and we did not changed anything on the site.
http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150115_ZP_D4G/ - here you can see performance test results.
-
After some tests in webmaster I see this - for first time download Googlebot need 1.2-1.6 ms, but all next download is below 0.5 ms. Maybe is problem with page cache?
-
For homepage - http://www.i-medic.ro, I see 81/100, but this javascript and css problems we have always. Inclusive before December 16.
By the way, this issues can't affect download time for Googlebot..
-
Taking a look at your site from the testing tool above I'm seeing 78/100 don't forget the "consider fixing" section which is showing some images not compresses however this doesn't answer your question of what changed I'm afraid only what may help.

We have dedicated server. Load time in test is good - 3s, problem is only with time spent downloading a page. Because this time has increased (from 500 ms to 1500 ms), decreased number of crawled pages per day.

Are you on a shared server etc.? did you try a speed test with your hosting see if it's slowing you down ?
-
If you need more details, please say.
-
Number of crawled pages going down.
-
And how about the number of pages that have been crawled, is that going up or down at the same rate? Just trying to get some sense on what is changing, although I still have no idea what is going on.
-
No changes for CDN and serve images
-
We have some JavaScript and CSS issues (average score 80/100), but this problems we have always.
-
Did you try https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ It can give you some great ideas of things that can help improve the speed.
-
Has anything changed in the way that you serve images or has your CDN gotten slower?

Why Dropping pages from SERPS?
Our website for my olansi company in London, China has hundreds of pages dedicated to every service we provide to China local areas. The total number of pages is approximately 100. Google caters pretty well for long-tail searches when it indexes all these pages, so we usually get a fair amount of traffic when this happens. However, Google occasionally drops most of our indexed pages from search engine results for a few days or weeks at a time - for example, Google is currently indexing 60 pages while last week it was back at 100. Can you tell me why this happens? When these pages don't display, we lose a lot of organic traffic. What are we doing wrong? Site url:https://www.olanside.com

Help Center/Knowledgebase effects on SEO: Is it worth my time fixing technical issues on no-indexed subdomain pages?
We're a SaaS company and have a pretty extensive help center resource on a subdomain (help.domain.com). This has been set up and managed over a few years by someone with no knowledge of SEO, meaning technical things like 404 links, bad redirects and http/https mixes have not been paid attention to. Every page on this subdomain is set to NOT be indexed in search engines, but we do sometimes link to help pages from indexable posts on the main domain. After spending time fixing problems on our main website, our site audits now flag almost solely errors and issues on these non-indexable help center pages every week. So my question is: is it worth my time fixing technical issues on a help center subdomain that has all its pages non-indexable in search engines? I don't manage this section of the site, and so getting fixes done is a laborious process that requires going through someone else - something I'd rather only do if necessary.

Reviews on Product Page or Separated
Good Afternoon We currently have our individual product information pages set-up with a link through to a separate review page optimised for the term "Product A Reviews" I was reading about structured data and if I read correctly, the reviews should sit with the marked up product data so I was wondering whether to merge them back into one page. We have many reviews so the review pages are paginated in blocks of 25 My options are: Leave as it is, product info page and separate review page Merge the review content back in to the main page and have the pagination work on that page Include the first 25 reviews on the product info page then when user clicks through to page 2, 3 etc they're taken to the separated review page. In that way the product page would regularly get new content and we can still have a page specifically targeted for reviews. From the users point of view, they probably aren't even aware they're being taken to a separate reviews page so with that in mind as I'm typing this maybe they should be one page again

Unavoidable duplicate page
Hi, I have an issue where I need to duplicate content on a new site that I am launching. Visitors to the site need to think that product x is part of two different services. e.g. domain.com/service1/product-x domain.com/service2/product-x Re-writing content for product x for each service section is not an option but possibly I could get over that only one product-x page is indexed by search engines. What's the best way to do this? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Stuart

Hundreds of 404 Pages, What Should I do?
Hi, My client just had there website redeveloped within wordpress. I just ran a crawl errors test for their website using Google Webmasters. I discovered that the client has about six hundred, 404 pages. Most of the error pages originated from their previous image gallery. I already have a custom 404 page set-up, but is there something else I should be doing? Is it worth while to 301 redirect every single page within the .htaccess file, or will Google filter these pages out of its index naturally? Thanks Mozers!
