Check the cuurent backlink profile, clean up any bad links if you can, and don't get links from link farms. As well as everything else Robert said too.

Amit,
I came to post a Question this morning and your query was first and I read it. Please understand first that I offer this in the hopes that it will assist you in your endeavor.
First and foremost, you mention that you have been doing on page and off page SEO ...but not getting proper responses. So i am only going to speak to the first part of this as I did not do an exhaustive review of the site.
Typically, in our company the first thing I check when we are having trouble with a client page/site is have we in some way been remiss in our on page SEO. And, if I am honest with you, there are definitely times when I say, "How did we miss this?"
Your on page is basically in need of overhaul on a lot of levels. Poor title tags, meta description over long and therefore wasted, missing H1/H2 almost everywhere, duplicate content with other online European pharmacies, meta keywords showing is not a best practice, etc.
This particular vertical is beyond highly competitive; it is one in which you must be ever vigilant and ever careful. (duplicate content, poor linking plans, etc. can cause algorithm problems if not penalties).
I think your best option is to back up and assess the site, then develop a plan, check the plan, and finally then implement changes. One area I would focus on noting your interest in KW analysis is this: Are you better served in a highly competitive niche using broad keywords or should you do some research around secondary keywords, long-tail keywords, etc.?
I hope this helps,
Robert

Can you suggest a good website for a roofing contractor??
I have a roofing contractor friend that wants a new site. There's a lot of choices out there, so to save a little time I'm looking for good suggestions. Ideally one with a good DA, and the ability to make manual edits on the back side. Thanks in advance:)

SEO for e-commerce, linking, brand mentions, insights diagnostics
Hi, I run the seo for www.bilthamber.com It is an e-commerce site selling car care products, and we also manufacture our own products. I was wondering how the seo for an e-commerce site might compare to the seo for a blog or information based site, or other types of site. And also how the seo for a particular product page on my site might compare to a information based page on my site. Are the tactics the same? Should you try and rank for similar terms, the same generic terms, or complelty unique terms for the best seo? Or should every page try and rank for different terms, to ensure that the engines dont rank 2 or more different pages for the same search term? And how many keywords or search terms should I try and rank a particular product page for? Or an information page, or blog page? Is there a minimum or maximum that is recommomended? Does the more terms you try and rank for on a page take the weight out of each of them? So having 4 really good search terms might be better than having 10 ok generic ones? How do I find out what are my best, most highly converting, most profitable keywords overtime for Google? I can find some information like this, but it is showing the stats for Bing UK, not Google, even though Google UK is my main engine in Moz. My domain authority has decreased by 3 this week, this is the first time it has gone down since I started with Moz a few months back, can anyone explain why? And how this will affect the rankings ect, and how I can get it back up higher agian? And for linking and brand mentions, what are the goals of this feature? Should I find my mentions and ask them to talk about us more and link to us properly? I'm not sure if this is right. Should I be asking other websites to make links to our pages, or should it be organic? And for the insights section, I am recieveing tons of issues a lot to do with duplicate content, will having the rel=carnocial tag fix these issues? I know thats a lot for 1 question, but its been building up in my head! Thanks in advance! Max

Find a 4xx or 5xx link referenced in an SEO Crawl Report
So I just got the Crawl Diagnostics report for a client site and it came back with a number of 4xx errors and even 1 5xx error. So while I can find the URL that has the problem, I cannot find the pages that have the links pointing to these non-existent or problematic pages. Normally I would just search the database for the site, but in this case I don't have access to it as the site is on a proprietary platform with no access other than to the CMS. Is there anyway to get the linking URL from the report? Thanks!

Hey from a New guy to SEO
Hi everybody!!! Hope everybody is dandy. Have spent a long time looking into SEOmoz and decided to just take the plunge and see what happens. Im quite new to the world of SEO but I really want to get good at it. Hoping Moz and this community will aid with this! Currently in the process of reading the SEO beginners guide and the SEOmoz user guide! The two sites that I am currently working on are: 1. www.advanced-incar.co.uk 2. www.advanced-incarcamerasystems.com The first site seems to have crawled well and have entered my competitors and am getting some info back (looks like I have a lot of work to do judging by the errors D'oh) In the world of Google what is the best way to ensure you have authority on certain terms. For instance if I search advanced-incar we are top and we have all our sitelinks underneath etc etc, but when I search advanced incar we are second and as such we don't display sitelinks. Any ideas? The second site was built using 1&1 and gives us a good little site for what we need. I have found out through research the most popular keywords are in car camera & in car cameras. Currently Im using Adwords to get us sponsored hits which is getting us some nice traffic but costing a bit. Those are the two main keywords i want this site to really hit home with. Any advice? Also on this site, when I go to SEOmoz and select Link Analysis I get no info. It just shows 0 or 0.0 wheras my competitor sites all have values against them. Is something wrong with my site or what im doing? (Have added an example screenshot) I appreciate its a long ended question but would really appreciate some help. Hoping that the guides will help me understand all this linkjuice stuff etc as well! Thanks guys, really appreciative of any info you can provide. Problem with Rankings and On-page Optimization
Hi SEOZ 🙂 I have a question regarding the Rankings and On-page Optimization in the seomoz Campaign Manager. I have setup a website url for examle: www.keyword.com After that created a list of all the target Keywords, that I want to reach within my Website: keyword-a, keyword-b, keyword-c and so on... Then I did a On-Page Analysis for all the urls with the specific keywords. keyword-a: www.keyword.com/keyword-a/ keyword-b: www.keyword.com/keyword-b/ keyword-c: www.keyword.com/keyword-c/ and so on... Most of the urls got the A grade. Now after the Website hast launched and got crawled, I have a problem with the Rankings and the On-page Optimization. The Rankings for my Keywords and also the Grades at the On-page Optimization are only shown for my Start/Homepage: www.keyword.com NOT for the urls that are specific for a Keyword for example: www.keyword.com/keyword-a/ Also the Grades are shown for the Keywords but again only in combination with my Start/Homepage www.keyword.com NOT for www.keyword.com/keyword-a/ What is the problem? Bye, Alex

SEO PowerSuite - best kept SEO secret or just bullsh..?!?
I've come across a lot of SEO tools in the last 5-6 years. And there are many great tools out there! I don't believe in the one-tool-fits-all. Among the tools I make use of are Raven Tools and Searchmetrics (great audit and market analysis tool!), and the tools in here, of course. In my search for a better ranking report tool I came across Rank Tracker from SEO PowerSuite. That seems like a great tool in category with AWR; but I am not able tell so as I am not a power user. Well, here is where I am going: I then tested the rest of the PowerSuite and it seems as a great product. But searching for the tools in here, and nothing shows up. Silence. Also elsewhere in other serious places. Why is that? It is a collective secret, shhhh, don't tell 🙂. Or is it is just crap? I know they have a bad reputation in regard to prices and updates. What do you guys think?
