Outgoing links
-
Hi Guy's,
We have a website with no outgoing links (only Facebook). Is this a good way to score better in the SERPS? Or is it better to have some outgoing "relevant" links for a natural linkjuice?
Thanks!

It's nothing you should worry about, honestly. Create great content, and if it makes sense to link out to someone, then do it. With or without a rel="nofollow" is up to you.
Backing myself up here, in which John Mueller basically says there's no SEO advantage or disadvantage to outbound linking:

Thanks for the answers
No outgoing links for the site

The answer to your question is it does seem in some situations have a small impact, However if you want a worthwhile increasing your SERPS I would probably focus on quality content on your own site.
One thing you should remember once someone has clicked an outgoing link from your site they are far less likely they'll come back, so if you expect them to spend money there are far more likely to spend it with the person you have linked to rather than your own site.
Hope that makes sense.
Just my two cents worth.

Benjamin is correct. Also check https://moz.com/blog/external-linking-good-for-seo-whiteboard-friday for a video version.
External links are considered a small ranking signal by some, I think it is more important. The integral part to external links is it allows google to contextualize your site. So a page focused on selling note books could be benefited if is linked to a website selling stationary. However if the note book page links to Air Jordan shoes - that may confuse google. External links are not a tenth as powerful as a relevant backlink but it is a signal worth using as it has no real cost.
I personally like external links as it gives a customer trust in your website, if you are linking to reputable authoritative sources and arming them with better information.
Hope that assists.

It's definitely a good idea to have out going links that are relevant.
I believe it actually helps your SERP. This may help you. https://moz.com/learn/seo/external-link

Back link from site with DA of 72 to a website domain. Clicking on the link redirects to our website not the attended one.
Hi,
Link Building | | JIMBO16
I've ran a back link check and discovered a good back link to a site which then gets redirected back to my company's website. I have a feeling that an old SEO agency has purchased a small website which has a decent link back from a relevant organisation with a high Domain authority and then redirects the domain to our website to get the link juice. What are your thought on this? Is this really bad practise and possibly damaging? Thanks, Jim0 -
Linking Between Sites
Hi everyone, Hope you are all doing well. If a company owns several different websites that are supposed to be different brands but are part of the same niche/sector is it OK to link between them? Or would this be seen as violation? Thanks

Link Building
Hi Mozzers, I work for an IT company specialising in outsourcing Cisco Engineers worldwide. Due to being involved heavily in outsourcing, I'm finding it impossible to generate genuine and organic links to our website. My question is that is it essential to have back links back to our website to achieve high search engine rankings? I'm unable to get clients and other partners to provide links as we're the outsourced company, but I can get backlinks from unrelated c ompanies. For example we're running a CSR initiative with a National Gym relating to health & fitness, also links from our web designers etc... Do these links have any type of value? Any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Jason 🙂

Is a little bit of interlinking between 2 sites beneficial? When is interlinking between enough friends' sites considered reciprocal? Thanks.

Building Links
Hi everyone, I am new to SEO and in the process of building links the clean way. Any suggestions on how exactly I can find websites that are linking out to quality websites already? I went thru most of my competitors link building strategy - and 90% of their links are done either thru link exchange or paid links. So looking at my competitors strategy does not really help. So I need to find websites/blogs/forums that are ready to link to me if I can show them some useful content. How do I find these websites first? Please help! Cheers! Arjun

Links from any country?
My site is aimed primarily at the UK, 90% of the traffic is from the UK and most of my links are from other UK based and UK targetted websites. The content is actually fairly international (apart from certain terms like Plasterboard instead of Drywall, etc). My question is: Should I concentrate on gathering links from the UK, or should I widen my search and try to get links from US and European websites? Are there any particular advantages or disadvantages to keeping links "local"?
