If I "close" a duplicate listing on Factual, Acxiom, SuperPages, Bing or Localeze, what exactly happens?
-
When I click "close" for a duplicate location with wrong information, does it mark that location as PERMANENTLY CLOSED on the website (factual, acxiom, etc), or does it delete it from that website?
Additionally, once that location on that site is marked as permanently closed or deleted, does Moz Local then re-add the correct information to that site?
Thanks!!!

Thank you. You are awesome! Have a great weekend.

Hi there!
When you click "Close" for a duplicate location surfacing for your listing, the end result will be that the duplicate page is completely removed, not left active and marked as Permanently Closed. Moz Local does create a page of your business for each partner site in our Direct Network by pulling the name, address, and phone number from your verified Google+ or Facebook page.
You can read all about how Moz Local works here: https://moz.com/local/faq
I hope this helps - thank you!

Unsolved Local Moz Listing Absent on Map for 7-Year-Old Business: Sockgeeks.co.uk
I'm facing an issue with the local Moz listing for my client's 7-year-old business at https://sockgeeks.co.uk Despite following best practices like GMB verification and NAP consistency, the business isn't showing on Moz Maps. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

Unsolved Listing Permanence
Do listings revert to original state after cancelling Moz Local subscription? I know Yext is a feed that needs to be in place for their listings to show, and when you cancel the subscription, the listings all revert to how they were before you started (if you are lucky). I was told that Moz Local was different by a rep of the underlying platform that Moz white labels. Is this true , or still true? Thanks

Employees using the Dealership's address and popping up as duplicates in Moz Local?
We are using Moz Local and have a client who's salespeople create individual Facebook Pages for themselves and use the storefront's address. They are noted as duplicates. How much does this really hurt local SEO?

Moz Local - duplicate descriptions
Hello, I was looking at Moz Local and saw that you are supposed to enter a business "description". However, I'm pretty sure local directories will not want duplicate descriptions - can I leave the description blank and then add varied descriptions directly? Is that a way around this issue? Your thoughts would be welcome.

What are the listings (citations) when you use Moz Local?
How do I find what the actual listings are when using Moz Local? I want to add more citations for my clients and don't want to create duplicates. _There are five main aggregators of location data that send information to local search engines: Infogroup, Neustar Localeze, Acxiom, and Factual and Foursquare. Is the info we are giving in Moz Local_* In the Dashboard...it show that "35 listings reach". but what are the actual listings? Do I need to use Whitespark to see what the actual listings are? Currently right now, I can only see like 18 listings. Any insight? Regards, Benny

Can I add all three branch locations of a small credit union to one Moz local listing, and if not, is it worth it to pay for three different local listings with MOZ?
Adding Moz local listing for a small credit union with only three branches. I am doing this to update their information across the web, but do not want to have to create three separate spread sheets and / or pay for three separate listings. Is there a way to add all three branches to one listing? If not, is it worth the expense and does it help or hurt if you add three separate listings with the same name and phone number but three different addresses. We also do not want to set up more than one Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc, accounts.

Uploading CSV for MOZ Local: The CSV you uploaded contains no listings.
I keep getting this error message. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or what. Basically, I have filled in all the information, and not edited the parts where I have no information to populate. Gives the error: The CSV you uploaded contains no listings. Thanks.
