Our Web Site Is candere.com. Its PA and back link status are different for https://www.candere.com, http://www.candere.com, https://candere.com, and http://candere.com. Recently, we have completely move from http to https.
-
How can we fix it, so that we may mot lose ranking and authority.
-
Yes, I would not worry about the differences in how OSE views the different url's PA/DA This would be for the reasons already noted, plus OSE is not Google.
The main issue is to make sure your recent move to https is buttoned down.
If you haven't already, look at this on Moz, especially the links to best practices on migrating to https. https://moz.com/blog/seo-tips-https-ssl

Hi there,
Of course those pages might have different PA. Because are treated as different pages.
Keep in mind that Moz's metrics are updated one a moth or so. Here there is a guide on when and how mozcape link updatesAlso, you should not completely asute that higher PA/DA will make higher rankings. It usualy does. But no always. There are cases where sites with lower PA/DA outrank sites with much higher PA/DA.
Hope it helps.
GR.

HTTP → HTTPS Migration - Both Websites Live Simultaneously
We have a situation where a vendor, who manages a great deal of our websites, is migrating their platform to HTTPS. The problem is that the HTTP & new HTTPS versions will be live simultaneously (in order to give clients time to audit both sites before the hard switch). I know this isn't the way that it should be done, but this is the problem we are facing. My concern was that we would have two websites in the index, so I suggested that they noindex the new HTTPS website until we are ready for the switch. They told me that they would just add cannonicals to the HTTPS that points to the HTTP and when it's time for the switch reverse the cannonicals. Is this a viable approach?

Should I have app deep links from by m.example.com site?
Hello Mozzers I had one small question to ask regarding app deep linking. I noticed websites ike http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ & http://www.trulia.com/ only include app deep links within desktop (www) versions of their websites but not include them on their mobile (m.) versions. Is this the best way to implement app deep links? Shouldn't websites include app deep links from both mobile and desktop versions of their website. Any help or tips will be highly appreciated. Thank you mozzers in advance.

Our quilting site was hit by Panda/Penguin...should we start a second "traffic" site?
I built a website for my wife who is a quilter called LearnHowToMakeQuilts.com. However, it has been hit by Panda or Penguin (I’m not quite sure) and am scared to tell her to go ahead and keep building the site up. She really wants to post on her blog on Learnhowtomakequilts.com, but I’m afraid it will be in vain for Google’s search engine. Yahoo and Bing still rank well. I don’t want her to produce good content that will never rank well if the whole site is penalized in some way. I’ve overly optimized in linking strongly to the keywords “how to make a quilt” for our main keyword, mainly to the home page and I think that is one of the main reasons we are incurring some kind of penalty. First main question: From looking at the attached Google Analytics image, does anyone know if it was Panda or Penguin that we were “hit” by? And, what can be done about it? (We originally wanted to build a nice content website, but were lured in by a get rich quick personality to rather make a “squeeze page” for the Home page and force all your people through that page to get to the really good content. Thus, our avenge time on site per person is terrible and Pages per Visit is low at: 1.2. We really want to try to improve it some day. She has a local business website, Customcarequilts.com that did not get hit. Second question: Should we start a second site rather than invest the time in trying to repair the damage from my bad link building and article marketing? We do need to keep the site up and running because it has her online quilting course for beginner quilters to learn how to quilt their first quilt. We host the videos through Amazon S3 and were selling at least one course every other day. But now that the Google drop has hit, we are lucky to sell one quilting course per month. So, if we start a second site we can use that to build as a big content site that we can use to introduce people to learnhowtomakequilts.com that has Martha’s quilting course. So, should we go ahead and start a new fresh site rather than to repair the damage done by my bad over optimizing? (We’ve already picked out a great website name that would work really well with her personal facebook page.) Or, here’s a second option, which is to use her local business website: customcarequilts.com. She created it in 2003 and has had it ever since. It is only PR 1. Would this be an option? Anyway I’m looking for guidance on whether we should pursue repairing the damage and whether we should start a second fresh site or use an existing site to create new content (for getting new quilters to eventually purchase her course). Really, is there much difference between an unnatural links warning and Penguin?
We know that the unnatural links warnings are manual and that Penguin is algorithmic. (I'm not talking about the latest round of confusing unnatural links warnings, but the ones sent out months ago that eventually resulted in a loss of rankings for those who didn't clean their link profiles up.) Is there much difference in the recovery process for either? From what I can see, both are about unnatural/spammy linking to your site. The only difference I can see is that once you feel you've cleaned up after getting an unnatural links warning you can file a reconsideration request. But, if you've cleaned up after a Penguin hit you need to wait for the next Penguin refresh in order to see if you've recovered. Are there other differences that I am not getting?

Strange affiliate links in web master tools
Hi All I have been looking in the Google webmasters tools account for a client and from out of nowhere they suddenly have 42,000 links last time I checked it was just over 4,000. It looks to me like some of our affiliates have links showing, they are formatted so it goes via a php script that looks like accomtracking.php?estid=1234&ref=123 this link appears 3 times in the source code of the page that is linking to my client but Google webmaster tools thinks it is linking 12,000 times. I assume this is a problem with the database where the link points to, issuing a unique link for each visit or something similar but I am not sure how to explain it to my client and how to correct it / stop it happening again. There are around 37,000 links like this to the site from just 6 referring sites and the client have had an unnatural link warning so I am anxious to get this fixed. Any help gratefully received. Sean

How to quickly up your PA/DA?
Okay people, so far i've actually tried a lot of things and analised a lot of data provided by SEOMoz and i already made a lot of changes. Still one of my competitors stands on the number 1 position in Google. Their page ranks F for the keyword and my page ranks A. I can only come to the conclusion that there is another part that plays his part here. So i basicly found this informatie: Page Grade: My site: Grade A Competitor: Grade F Page Authority (PA): My site: 49/100 Competitor: 62/100 Domain Authority (DA): My Site: 39/100 Competitor: 55/100 Total Links: My Site: 1188 Competitor: 8250 FB Shares: My Site: 15 Competitor: 14 FB Likes: My Site: 2 Competitor: 1 Tweets: My Site:6 Competitor: 7 Google+: My Site: 3 Competitor: 0 I already made some adjustments to my facebook fan page so it can recieve more likes then before. I think the main issue is located in the PA en DA factors. What do you guys think and what could i do to quickly increase my PA en DA factor (PA is the most important one i think). hope to hear from you soon

/%category%/%postname%/ Permalink structure
Mostly everyone seems to agree that /%category%/%postname%/ is the best blog structure. I'm thinking of changing my structure to that because now it's structured by date which is bad. But almost all of my posts are assigned to more than one category. Won't this create duplicate pages?
