Setting up Moz Pro campaign for a subfolder
-
Hi, I'm just setting up my first campaign and would like some advice please. I have a website and also within it a a number of pages in a sub folder. These are technically a different business to the main website and I would like to track them separately in Moz so they can have their own keyword lists and competitors etc.
How do I do this? Do I set up two separate campaigns
www.site.com
www.site.com/subfolderI understand the first one might still report on the subfolder but I guess I could just ignore this.
Thanks

Fantastic and thanks for the video I've got it sorted.

Hi there! Tawny from Moz's Customer Support team here!
Setting up two separate campaigns is probably the way to go here. You can create a campaign solely for a subdomain or subfolder by selecting the +Advanced setting in the campaign set-up; just click the check box there and it will limit our campaign audit to the pages on that specific subdomain or subfolder. From there, you can see in your Campaign Settings where if you've set it up for just that chunk of your site, or for the entire root domain.
I've created a short video here that will show you the steps in doing this in your own campaign, but feel free to write in to help@moz.com and let us know if you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can assist with!

When setting up a new campaign for a client should I add keywords
I'm new to Moz and SEO. When setting up a new campaign there are some keywords pre-filled. Sometimes there are a lot. Sometimes they are very client-specific rather than for the sector or for a search. Sometimes there are very few poor quality keywords. Should I research keywords so that there are as many as possible relevant keywords when first setting up the campaign or leave it as it is and add keywords later?

When does Moz update campaign data with new timeframe ?
Hi, I joined Moz community on last week and discovered an amazing tool. I set up my first campaign and I am getting information for a timeframe that's going from 7 to 13 of March. I believe that new data for 14 to 20 of March should be available but I didn't get any update. So, when is Moz supposed to update campaign data with fresh information ? Thanks in advance for such a dumb question. Sébastien
