Explanation of rankings summary - Rankings in top 50 and Keywords that have moved up or down
-
Question on the exact definition / relationship between the summary of your rankings in the top 50 and the number of keywords that have moved up or down for your selected time frame.
To me, I would expect the number of keywords that have moved up (or down) to be more than the sum of any upward movement for the top 50
For example, if it says we had (7) keywords that moved up to 1-3 and (5) moved up to 21-50 and then to the right of that it tells me we have had 5 keywords move up - what does that mean

Hi Samantha -
Yes! That answers my question and was precisely what I was looking for.
Thank you!

Hey there Rebecca!
The drops and increases that you see in the ranking buckets, i.e. #21-50: 144^88, don't necessarily represent the number of keywords that increased in rankings. They just represent that there are more keywords in that bucket. If a keyword moved down from #19 to #21, that would move that keyword out of the #11-20 bucket, lowering that number, and into the #21-50 bucket, increasing that number, but it would still be a drop in ranking.
This number can increase by keywords dropping out of other buckets, which would be moving down in the rankings; by keywords being added to the campaign, which would be no change to the rankings since we weren't tracking them previously; or from keywords increasing in the rankings. The change value in this section does not represent the change value of the rankings themselves, just the change value of the number of keywords in each bucket.
Some keywords may also move within the bucket, so they wouldn't be reflected in the change value for the bucket, but they would still be counted in the moved up or moved down numbers. For example, if a keyword moves from #22 to #24, in the rankings it is still in the #21-#50 bucket, so no change would be reflected in the number of keywords in that bucket, but it will still show as a drop in the moved down metric.
I hope this helps to clarify - let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi Moz team, I wanna show KD as a column on the "All Keyword Suggestions" page. So I do not need to research every keyword that I want to focus on. Is there any way do this? Thanks, Bruce

Attempts to fix MOZ recommended issues resulted in drastic ranking drop.
I have a website built in SquareSpace. https://www.ruffhaus.com/ I recently started working with MOZ to track and improve organic SEO. After my initial site crawl, search visibility was reported at a waping 2.38%. Moz showed several critical crawler issues. Most were redirect, 4xx and long URL. So I started working on fixing the redirect and 4xx issues first. I thought this was a good thing. But now my already sad search visibility has dropped to .07% (-95.97%!). I also went from #1 on keyword, brand implementation plan (and 3 variations), to #27. What? Wondering where I went wrong and how to remedy? This is all new to me so I am sure I'm not providing all the info you need to answer my question. Hoping providing the site URL will help. Fire away!

How are keywords assigned to the On Page Rankings
Hopefully this isn't a stupid question. I'm new to MOZ Pro so I created a campaign and uploaded about 300 keywords. Our site is an ecommerce site so there are many many products and of course, many pages. My first On Page Ranking Report has completed and naturally we have pages with scores ranging from A to F. What I don't understand is this: for any given keyword, how did that word get assigned to a given page for the purpose of the ranking report? We may have many pages that may include a given keyword so when I look at a page with a score of F, I'm sometimes surprised that a given keyword is assigned to a particular page for the purposes of ranking. Can someone help me understand this architecture?
