Does anyone have a good resource for seeing SERP feature/presentation change Year-Over-Year?
-
Moz only tracks general SERP feature changes for the last 30 days.

SEM rush tracks the serp features in their Sensor tool. If you're on Pro account (99pm) then you can see a month's worth of data but if you upgrade to Guru then you can get the historical data. I was thinking of upgrading to the Guru account for this reason but I'm just one company not an agency so it's not justifiable to spend 199pm just to see historical data without all the other features I wouldn't use.
Check out the screenshot from my pro account. Not sure if that's the sort of data you're after but they certainly let me scroll back through the years although it's greyed out because I'm not on the Guru account level.
So I'd find someone who has SEM rush Guru and ask them to export it all for you. It's also a great tool and I'd recommend the pro account. I use it alongside Moz as they both have features that you'll need although there's lots of overlap too.
Maybe If you ask super nice they'll give you a Pro account free trial? That could work too.

Why did all our Image Packs - featured SERP - disappeared on Mobile in July?
We saw our keywords ranking for Image Packs consistently on both desktop and mobile. Then July came and our image packs for mobile completely went away. We still have them for desktop, and we are still seeing the other Featured SERPs (ex. featured snippets) on mobile, but nothing for Image Packs. Has anyone else seen this happen? Any ideas why or how to change it so we can rank again?

Collecting post codes / zip codes in Google Analytics - Terms of Service
Hi Mozzers, Just reading up on Google Analytic's Terms of Service and wondering if collecting post codes / zip codes (from a website's 'Find my nearest...' tool) adhere's to the following: "You will not (and will not allow any third party to) use the Service to track, collect or upload any data that personally identifies an individual (such as a name, email address or billing information), or other data which can be reasonably linked to such information by Google." What do you think?

Track subdomains in the same analytics property/view
Hello to everyone, this is my first question (kind of a newbie here :-D). I have a website that spans over 4 subdomains + the main domain and I'd like to have a place where I can see the total page views, events and goal completions. Main domain is langhe.net, and subdomains are eventi.langhe.net, servizi.langhe.net, shop.langhe.net, about.langhe.net. The website is based on wordpress and I'm using google analytics for wordpress by yoast as analytics plugin. The configuration of the plugin is as follows: all the website have the same UA-XXXXXXXX code The Subdomain Traking field (setDomainName) is filled with .langhe.net Cross-Domain tracking is enabled Cross-Domain Primary Domain (setDomainName) is langhe.net Cross-Domain Tracking, Other Domains field is filled with: about.langhe.net, eventi.langhe.net, servizi.langhe.net, shop.langhe.net. In the GA property I've created an Advanced Custom Filter configured this way: Field A -> Extract A = hostname (.*) Field B -> Extract B = request URI (.*) Output To -> Constructor = request URI $A1$B1 Field A Required: yes Field B Required: No Override Output Field: yes Case Sensitive: no I was wondering it this is the best way of doing it, or if there are other "best practice" ways to obtain what I'm looking for (for example with this configuration it's become quite difficult to separate the traffic sources for each website). Thank you in advance 🙂

May last year my sites orgainic listings, and therfore visitors, plumeted. Why?
Hello, May last year my site took a major fall. I am unsure why, and it's time I found out why. Recently I have rebuilt the site from scratch, except for the urls and content, and it's starting to turn back. What is the best method to go about understanding just what caused the decline? What are the options I have? See the image for a graph of the all-time traffic. http://i.imgur.com/uL93yPj.png My website in question is: www.ditalia.com.au Thanks. uL93yPj.png

Has anyone used or have the lowdown on LeadLander?
Client received an email on LeadLander showing actual business names in traffic results. Has anyone used or have the lowdown on LeadLander? Is it spammy? Seems to not have much buzz online, mostly active in 2008.

If I change the URL of a page, but the old page canonicalizes to the new, do I need to change my Analytics goals to get data?
I changed the URLs of some pages recently (because the same thing that affects the internal anchor text also affects the URL - grr...) but considered it not a big deal because even if I looked at the source code of the old URL, the canonical tag was now pointing to the new one. The question is - if I had URL destination goals set up for those URLs in Google Anlaytics, do I now have to change them? Or does Google somehow know that anyone getting to the new URL is the equivalent of someone getting to the old URL because of the canonical tag that exists on the old URL source code? I still do see goal conversions for some of the old URLs even since I changed them - but it could be that people are still somehow finding the old URL somewhere - or that Google only reindexed it a week or so after I made the change. Any light to shed? Thanks in advance, Aviva B
